sumfun- we are planning on taking the auto train this Nov 2nd, and spending a week at WDW before the 7 day cruise on Nov 9th.

Go over to the transportation board with your questions - and do a search -if it is working - I know there is info there - I have yet to book as well - but will be booking soon now that you say the $$ went up!!

When is your cruise??

Hi!

We're taking the Auto Train on May 3rd and sailing on the May 5th Wonder. We had planned on driving both ways, but with the good price I got (2 adults, 4 children and van - $580.00) for one way, it was worth it to drive down. The price northbound was an additional $800, so I passed.

I wasn't willing to take the chance of arriving on Sun. morning as there is always a chance of the train running late. We have taken the train many times and only once did we arrive late (12:00 p.m.) I just didn't want the stress of being on the train and worrying about "missing the boat!!!"

We will arrive on Sat. a.m. and stay at the Swan with their $149 cruise special. Then on Sun. a.m. we will drive to the port.

I would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding the Auto Train.

Good Luck!

P.S. I wouldn't wait too long to book -- the longer you wait the hire the price gets!
