Like so many brave ones before me... I'm taking a step forward and dipping my toe into the pool and saying "hi".

I've been lurking for a while, but I've decided to de-lurk myself and come on out (pun intended) and say hello.

I'm a little overwhelmed, so I don't have too much to say about myself right now, but I'm sure I will open up more in the days/weeks/months to come. Thanks for being such a great group of people. You guys and your comraderie has given me the courage to jump into the group. :flower3:

If it is catching , I'm making sure to NOT cover my mouth and nose when I sneeze.< ACHOO> I want to get as many of them as possible:woohoo:

LOLOL! Is THAT how it works then? :teeth:

Welcome to our board! It's a great place to be. We have a tendency to irreverently respect everyone. :teeth:

Hi Tia! I just recently got my nerve up to post here and it's a wonderful group of supportive people. Where in the DC area are you? I'm in Northern Montgomery County.

Are you the one that sneezed on me? Here I was, living in suburbia, the married straight mom of 4 kids and suddenly I was a lesbian. Had no idea that sneezing caused it. :rotfl:

I've never, previously, heard that sneezing can cause it.

However, apparently, looking at rainbows can. :lmao:

Yeah, it was fun--as long as I reminded myself that the poster was clearly loopy!

Hi Tigger...

I'm in MoCo as well. I'm at the very edge of Silver Spring about 3 miles outside of Olney, near the Leisure World on Georgia Ave.

I work in Arlington, VA. (I'm a manager and makeup artist at a hair salon) :)

I'm in East Montgomery Village, about 10 minutes or so from Olney. We head over there a lot--that's where most of my doctors are and my son swims at the Olney Swim Center.

I missed the sneezing thread...bet that one was fun. :rotfl:

I snagged it from Photobucket. :rotfl:

I do know about another sneezing thread, but it compared sneezing to something else. :rolleyes1
