Does anyone know why Birnbaum's Official 2008 guide lists the Contemporary as one of the DVC properties?

I get the book every year just cause it's tradition, and I was reading through it the other day. I was reading about our home (BWV) and our next visit to BCV, and in the colored box that discusses DVC, they list the properties that are DVC. Included in the list is "Contemporary". I thought it was just because they were listing examples of other resorts you could stay at using points, but that was the only non-DVC listed - shall we file this under "Mysterious Clue" re: CRV??:confused3

Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong...wishful thinking...:confused3

I also saw that in the book a month ago. I think its a subversive(sp?) way to get us hyped up. :rotfl:

think it relates back to between AKV and CRV.

it was between these two for a while.

but because AKV could have more rooms at AKL than CR -they went with AKV. because they could get it opened first.

CRV will be a long time being build. So they decided to wait (hope so anyway) for it.

the book went to the publisher before DVC made the decision.

It does mention AKV too - right?

You know, I don't even know to be honest. I'll check it when I get home, cause I don't have it in front of me. That makes sense, although I have to shake my head at the "officialness" of the guide...between this and not making any mention of the Studios name change, 2008 could be a confusing year for someone who's never done Disney before!!

(Which, obviously, is not me:rotfl: )
