I noticed for Universal Studios that they no longer sell the one day park pass with the free shuttle service. So I need to find alternate solutions for getting from Disneyland to Universal. We are debating a car, but we also want to look into shuttles and busses. Are there any that you would recommend?

Hi Neighbor
Try http://www.allanaheimtours.com/Body.asp?Page=TourDetails&tour=ANA-B0041
Cannot seem to find the last one we used but this one seems to book admission & transit or just transit
Enjoy your trip:thumbsup2

If you can't arrange for a shuttle you might try Metrolink to LA's Union Station then take the Red Line subway to Universal Studios.

Your Metrolink ticket also gives you free passage on the subway - see page 19 of the Rider's Guide here:

To get to the Amtrak/Metrolink station you can take ART route #15 (http://www.rideart.org/amtrak.html).
That's a lot of moving parts, but might work for you. :)

We drove to USH, 31 miles from Anaheim. Open and closed the park, late summer, very hot, going this next August again.
