Realistically, I have to go with Priceless Memory Preserver. That's the 100-199 category. I did 103 in 2007, and I think I can do at least the same this year. I hope to go way over my 2007 total, but I want to keep it real for now:). I didn't get a dedicated scrapping area until 09/07, and once I got that together, my productivity increased.

They chart is designed so that you are placed in a level by the number of pages you have scrapped SIOH and RRBB try to make cool names and smilies for all of them so everyone feels good about the scrapping they are doing. You simply post to here or on the monthly scrapping thread how many pages you finished in the month (the monthly thread has someone else who tallies you pages for you) and then are in the category you earn. People are listing the level they would like to achieve by the end of the year.

Both- we have never diferentiated- although I think some of the categories mnake more sense when it come to tradditional scrapbooking. I have used pages made both ways in my count.

In that case I'm going to go for Crop Champion. That's a couple of pages a week and considering it took me 2-3 hours to do a page last weekend, that'd be a good start.

I can't believe all the fun things I may have missed?

But now I'm here! After 2 years of dismal scrappin due to baby 4 being born in 06 (had major pregnancy complications) Plus the horror of any scrapper...a flood and half my supply being completely lost:sad: Then adjusting to life with 4 kids.

Ok my goal is going to be Memories Maven with 250 pages. With the super shooting toward 500 pgs in the Master Scrapper catagory.

So here are my album goals:

Finish youngest DD's baby book (current project)
Atlanta/PCB FL family vacation from 07
update DH and mine Anniversary album (need to do 10th 06, 11th 07 and upcoming 12th 08)
a mimi pre-Disney trip book (to add pic's right away upon arriving at home to use with my TR on the boards and for fun!
a mini Disney schedule book for DS who has special needs (idea off disABILITIES thread)
Disney 08 trip
DS and DD's (going on 9) Age 6-7 That's 2 seperate albums

I think that is a good start, hope to add to it!

Yes, you count each individual page that you complete, so a 2 page layout would count as 2 pages.

The monthly challenge thread is in the scrapbooking forum where you found this thread. Just look for a thread titled something like, "January Scrapping Challenge" and post the number of pages you have completed. The person who completes the most pages for the month hosts the challenge the following month and the hostess is the one who tallies all of your pages and sends out a small gift to the winner.

Just dropping by to set my goal. Obviously I have a very busy year ahead with my wedding, bachelorette party, honeymoon, moving house to a new city, new neice/nephew on the way plus all those little things life throws up unexpectedly. My goal is 52 pages, one a week. I'd love to do more but at the same time I want to be realistic! My other goals are to finish my WDW 2006 album (don't get me started on 2007) and to finish the album of my nephew's 1st year.

Congratulations on your pages getting done. That is always a plus.

SIOH normally updates this once a once with the new totals- you can post your totals for the whole month here or join in on the monthly thread and anyone on those will be added at the end of the month to this one. It makes the job of keeping up with this easier from SIOH.

SIOH normally updates this once a once with the new totals- you can post your totals for the whole month here or join in on the monthly thread and anyone on those will be added at the end of the month to this one. It makes the job of keeping up with this easier from SIOH.

My goal? To actually sit down and get something done this year. I did almost next to nothing last year. Sad, but true. I've got to shake my bootie and get some of those albums done. I'm officially 5 - going on 6 - years behind in my kid's albums, and I take too many photos a year to be that far behind!

So far, I've been able to complete 4 albums (3 were identical!) and two small paper albums this month. I'm already starting to make borders and power-layout my WDW '05 albums (2 for kids - one digital for me) and hopefully I'll get those completed in March.

As for the rest of the year, to get caught up on the kid's school albums (they're currently 7 & 9) and DS's start scouting from beginning to present. Then who knows what. I can't think that far in advance!

But at least I've got ya'll to keep me motivated!

I hate to ask this, but my count is incorrect, can you fix it? Somehow I got credit for more pages than I really have completed in February. I posted this on the Feb. thread also, but I only completed 25 pages total for February which leaves me with a total of 46 so far for the year. I would just leave it and make up the pages this month, but I already requested the change on the Feb. thread.

I'm possibly being real dumb here (it wouldn't suprise me) but are the individual totals on the first page just our totals from the previous month or all the previous months added up, i.e. annual totals so far? Just checking because my total on the first page is 25 which is my total for Feb but my annual total is 43 (Jan 18 + Feb 25) and I got confused!

Silly question: Is the total supposed to be for all pages created, or only for Disney inspired pages? Just wondering... If it were for all, I'd have to think about that a little...

I actually have everything on tivo so I don't watch live and FF through the commercials or that would be something I could do. I have been working during some of my shows on my inspiration journal. I've been going through all my old magazines and cutting out what I like and putting it in a sketch pad for inspiration and then I can recycle the magazine and clear out some room at the same time. DH is very excited that I'm actually going through magazines from 2005. LOL

I re-tallied my completed pages last weekend and realized that I shorted myself with my pages for the CP Swap.

Please add 14 pages to my total. With that addition plus my 6 pages from August, my overall total should be 184 which puts me over my minimum goal for the year. :woohoo: :banana:

38 scrapped pages (& an 86 page trip report for our 6 week spring trip.)
150 more pages for Give Kids the World (SplishSPlash, and It's a Jungle) no photos, of course.
40 pages - 80th birthday Album (including interviewing the subject, and collecting input from 20 other people.)
20 page 6X6 cruise album - (it started as a kit by Seaulater, but I took liberties, and it's completed)
(26 pgs)130 fish extender gifts - cricutted film strips with 4 photos on a backing, laminated - I guess I'd count 4 as a page - eh say 5, it comes out more even
2 "my favorite photos" Library card books - they should count as at least a page a piece, don't you think?


Oh, and then there's CKC . . . completed so far

10 page Disney Board book, from a kit - with doodling done, but no photos (not sure if I'll use it or gift it)
10 page heavy cardstock book - not exactly chipboard, but heavier than regular cardstock - with pull outs, minibooks, flipdowns, tag books. It's cute -all inked and beribboned, it was worth the frustration. Again, no photos, for the same reason.


I'll have to count the pages I completed that were 'just' pages. Oh, and the pages I've done in my Christmas cookbook. . . gee. I got done more this year than I thought :goodvibes I'm HAPPY!

We have 120 member on the yearly board. So if everyone can complete 10 pages this month, we'll have a total of 1200. Some are way past that 10 pages already. Keep up the great work. I know we can hit our goal.

good idea!!! I will try to look at some pics tonight. I rearranged the 8x8 albums so I could do a whole princess one for DD's singleton trip that we took. I just need to fill in where I didn't have letters that were really pincessy.


And I'm going to use one for the SDV trip, but I don't have a use for the 3rd yet.

Buffy- print out your pictures and do the SDV album that we created. It is only about 10 pages long but only needs 2-3 cropped pictures and a little journaling on each page.

I never added my totals for November. I completed 26 pages so my total for 2008 is 228. I may try to get a few more done in December but I doubt it. I'm very happy with this as it is over my goal of 184.

I would just make a few slight changes:
1-9 (instead of 1-10)
10-24 (instead of 11-24)
25-49 (instead of 25-50)
50-74 (instead of 51-74)
75-99
100-199
200-299
etc

That way when you hit a big milestone you are in the next category. You got my counts right.

I think I messed up my count a few months back. As of the end of November, I should have 344, thanks! What an inspiring chart. Without this count, I would never realize how many pages I have accomplished of preserving our memories!

Fran, I completely agree. In the past, I always just looked at how much I had to get done (a lot). When you keep track & see it in #s of pages its really makes you feel like you accomplished something this year. I would never think that I've scrapped over 150 pgs in one year. That just seems crazy. Especially, when I'm just working on stuff for our family albulms. Here's to a very productive month for all of us.:santa:
PS: Since, I joined this thread, I have a little notebook to keep track of monthly & for the year. And I figured since I was doing it for the year I should see what I've done completely. So, now I've gone back & started counting pgs in my completed bks from yrs past. I'm amazed at all I've done. Also, I've started scanning or taking pics of completed pages & burning them to CDs. The CDs go to my moms for safe keeping. I could never replace all the work I've done up of my albulms or the memories.

That is so me. I have an entire room devoted to scrapping, and I still have junk piled all over the floor. So I'm trying not to buy anything new, trying to use up a ton of swap stuff. I just want to reduce my "inventory" by half - then it will feel like I can breathe again in there!

I met my goal this year already of 500 pages, so now I'm pushing for 600 by the end of the year - I have to finish a gift album so I should meet it easily. Now to think about the goals for next year.

You can do it. Just try to complete 2 each day and you will finish before the end of the month- even if you have a couple of days in which you don't get to them.
