View Full Version : Owner's Locker question

I have been checking out the option of using Owner's Locker to store items in between visits to WDW. We visit about 3 or 4 times each year and it would be wonderful to not have to lug stuff back and forth that we only use there. Has anyone out there used the service before? I read the testimonials online but hearing from an actual user here would be very helpful. We head down there again next month so we must decide very soon. Thanks for your help!

I've used Owner's Locker on my last two WDW trips, and I love their service!! The locker is definately bigger than I expected, and it's perfect for storing toilitries, small containers of coffee (I'm not a coffee drinker, but my family hates the stuff WDW serves), and other personal items.
It's so nice to not have to worry about 'Did I pack XYZ?' I know that I have everything I need already down there. The fact that John and Brian (owners of Owners Locker) deliver and pick up the locker makes the company a million times more convenient. John and Brian are also two of the nicest, most professional people you'll ever meet, which makes their product that much more special.
I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it!

Love their service. I have so many things stored in mine that it's chock full. Also great for extra bottled water, etc. for the next trip to WDW. And they'll deliver not only to WDW, but any other hotel or condo in the area. Just put in your dates under "My Account" and they do the rest - delivery and pickup!
Awesome service - thanks John and Brian!!! :goodvibes

I love the Owner's Locker service. DH and I took a trip last month--eight nights at VWL, and only had carry-on luggage.
Here's a review from Mousesavers about it.

Thanks everyone for the posts. After reading everything I am going to give it a try. I was up late last night thinking about all of the things that we could store in it and it would be great to not have to try and cram everthing into my suitcase every time we head down, especially with the airline weight restrictions! Since we are headed to Orlando at least 3 times this year I can't wait to pack lighter! Thanks again!

I got my first locker last month while we were at SSR. It is packed FULL of stuff that I won't be lugging back and forth. And you can keep an online inventory, so you know exactly what's in your locker.
And I agree that the service is first rate!:thumbsup2

John and Brian do an excellent job. We started right at the beginning with beta-testing and have had nothing but good things to say about OL. :)
We go two to three times a year. Actually went 5 this last year, so the price is too high for us since the annual fee includes limited service.
Wish there was a better deal for more trips per year.
Anyway, I have two special Disney drawers that I keep packed at home with ponchos, sunscreen, water toys, light backpacks. Some of these I keep sorted in zip lock bags so it is very easy and quick to gather these items when packing. We use Magic Express, so an extra bag is no trouble.

For anybody who likes to be prepared for anything(chronic overpacker like me) it is great to know that all that stuff you can't live without will be there waiting for you. Since I usually get stuck doing the packing for the whole family, this service will really make things easier on me.
And their customer service is topnotch! :thumbsup2 It is so nice to get a text message when you get off the plane that your locker is waiting for you. And they email you to let you know when it is back in the warehouse. I highly recommend it!
Hey VLee,
Not sure I understand your post. We have 2 storage/delivery plans. The Standard Annual Plan is $99 per year and includes one Visit (delivery/pickup). Additional Visits are $25 each.
And, we have the Premium Annual plan which is $179 per year and has unlimited Visits. So if you come 1-4 times per year the SAP makes sense but if you come 5 or more the PAP works out better. And, we allow Members to switch back and forth between plans.
I love you comment about the Disney drawers. Soooo many of our Members have a stash of stuff that they only use while at WDW. In a drawer...under the bed...in a box in the garage.
Why not give us a try....I'm willing to bet we'll have you long term!
John
