This forum is new to me, so please bare with me. I have a few questions. The 1st question I have is, I booked my 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise thru Disney using my AMEX card and the only thing I was told I would be geting was a little gift pack, "known as the white glove treatment" does anyone know what this packet contains. My 2nd, if I was to book thru a travel agent they are offering me the free mugs per person for the drinks, which I hear they cost from $20 - $30. The main problem I have if i were to do this is I have been making payments with my AMEX card since Feb. 2001. How would I would I be able to change if I had to to get this savings of $80 - $120, anyone please, I need to know. Thank you in advance.:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:

First re: white glove treatment, it probably is the hip back (I know that is what you get in you book with American Express for the parks. Then I believe you get a few discounts for the rentals on Castaway Cay. Second the soda mugs are worth it (especially on the 7 day cruises) if you are a soda drinker. My son and I purchased one and shared it. The only time you get free soda is at the sit down dinners. Up on deck 9 they have free coffee, tea, hot cocoa and milk. You also get free juices on deck 9 for breakfast and lunch. I booked a disney cruise online with disney directly then found out AAA offered a few more perks (such as the free mugs.) AAA called the disney cruise line and they transferred everything over. I was using the same credit card. In your case, if you are still within the 100% refund time, American Express should credit your card. Hope everything turns out well.

Hey Buzz2400, thanks for the great info. I just got off the phone with AAA and they said they will look to see if Disney still has this offer and if AAA can take over the balance of my Cruise, just got a call back from AAA and they can take over my balance and my reservation stays in tack.:D
