This is being sold now on ebay, & while I haven't been on this board for some months now, I thought I'd ask the experts about this.

Anyone know about this or have any experience trying to use these cetificates?? I believe they are associated with a particular travel agency (?) but it is not named.

I had one sent to me one time....from some travel agency in Florida, specific to a certain Carnival cruise. Didn't look like anything worth pursuing. A kid's yogurt(?) did the same thing last year, also a Carnival deal. I'd be skeptical, but that's just my nature.

I checked into this once and the deal at that time was that you paid the full price marked in the books and brochures - no discounts of any kind. At the time (a year ago), the cabin we were looking at was $799+taxes+insurance, etc. and the total bill was way more that what I actually paid going to a TA and getting various discounts (ie early booking, AAA discounts, etc.)

I would really check around the sites and see what kind of deals you can get for the time you would be going and compare with the full price the cruise line is charging. Even with one "free", it's not really free, IMO
