I think we did quite well!!!!!! :lmao:

we have driven over 800 miles and drunk gallons of coffee but my goodness it was worth it!

we have just got back home having stopped briefly with relatives...so I am very tired, full of cold, but very keen to share my disney new year experience!!!!

full trip report to follow but to start a quick run down of the good bits and not so good bits

Good bits!

Euro tunnel - very easy, very quick :thumbsup2

EMH - We found these key to maximising our time in the parks and getting lots done in a short space of time

Mikey shaped brioche - YUMMMY!!!! with a suprise centre ;)

Thunder mountain and crushes coaster - I think I decided on these two rides as my favouites but its so hard when they are all so good!!:woohoo:

Having to snuggle up to my partner to keep warm!!!! :goodvibes

New years eve fireworks :)

Not so good bits

People smoking in the ques right next to me,:sad2: I really can't stand cigarette smoke. They did try to blow the smoke upwards but it would have been nicer if they werent doing it atall

Some people almost fighting before the fireworks---a grown man fronting up and intimadating a whole family. This man stank of booze so I had decided not to get in his way but more about this in my trip report.

In summary the good far out weighed the bad!!!! We had an absolutely fantasic time which I can't wait to go into detail about...hopefully with some pics :)

My partner has told me to add that his car needs some recognition for getting us all the way there and back again with very little warning...it's a very old car (20 yrs old) .....but it's a trooper!!!! well done little golf!!!

Sounds as though you had a great time and it all worked out well in the end in spite of your last minute change of plans.
We are fans of the Euro tunnel as well- so quick and easy

So glad you had a lovely time:thumbsup2

Look forward to reading more about it in more detail and seeing some pics and about the drive down, I'm trying to persuade myself that I could drive, but I'm really not sure.

I am sure you could....the roads are well sign posted and there are so many places to stop on the way for a loo break...coffee, a bite to eat etc so you could pace yourself.
