Room Inventory question

Does anyone know if someone cancels a reservation if it is immediately available. I have been trying to get a room for tomorrow 1/3-1/5. I know it is very last minute and such but I didnt know I could get some days off. And was curious the CM's told me to just keep trying....Oh they did have a room open for point at Coronado Springs but I opted to wait. Thank you...

Since this is a holiday week and pretty much sold out months ago with waitlists, it is not likely you would succeed.

If you book one of the WDW non DVC Resorts on points, you will also pay a $95 booking fee (as of 1/1/2008) so that may be prohibitive with such a short stay..

Have you tried CRO for cash at all the WDW Resorts? You may have a better chance with that...

Hi thank you when I spoke to the CM she said that the booking fee was not in effect til Febraury and I havent checked thru CRO..
