I'm debating booking a Savannah View studio or a Concierge studio at AKV.
I really want a Savannah view though, and it looks like if I book Concierge level that there is a chance that I might get a pool view instead. Is that correct? Is there any way I can guarantee Savannah view?
What does concierge level really get you? Is it worth the increased cost?
Thanks!

In terms of your first question, I don't think that you can request the view. Even if you can, it would not be guaranteed. It is worth a try.
Someone should be along with details about the benefits of concierge. I am curious myself.

There is a 60% chance that you'll get a Concierge room overlooking the Sunset savanna, and a 40% chance you'll get a room overlooking the pool.
With Concierge, you get:
Advanced Walt Disney World itinerary planning service
Personalized front desk and Concierge service
Daily housekeeping service and evening turndown with chocolates
Secured key access to 6th floor and Club Level lounge
Weekday newspaper delivery of USA Today
Assistance with special events planning and shopping
Club Level Lounge refreshments

Concierge consists of a total of five 2BR lockoffs. Two of those 2BRs face the pool, three face the Sunset Savanna. We don't know how many of them they will "lock off" and rent as a 1BR and a studio but if I had to guess I would say it will be three or four. So make sure you call right when the 11-month window opens up (if you own AKV points) or right at the 7-month window for your best chance of booking one.
I think you can request a savanna view, but it's just a request. Since pretty much everybody is making that same request and Concierge level will probably always be fully booked, nearly half of those staying Concierge will not get their requested view.

We looked into the Concierge for some of our stay during my spring break. We were able to get one night on Sun. March 30th. It will be fun to stay there for one night, but I will be quite happy in our 1 bdrm. SV room for the rest of the nights! :thumbsup2
