View Full Version : AP Rate
This may seem like an odd question but ... If your annual pass expires in the middle of your vacation, and you want to move to another resort, do you still get the ap rate because you were a pass holder at the start of the vacation?
Example: Poly 8/21-8/27 pass expires on 8/27 and you want to stay at YC for 5 days. AP rate or not?

I don't believe you'll get the AP rate at the YC because it's a different resort, thus a different reservation. You willl have to renew your AP in order to get the AP rate at the YC. This being said, if you stay at the Polynesian, you can keep the same rate. As long as the end date of the discount offer extends beyond your departure date, you will be charged the same discount rate each night.
Actually, I've had my stay extend beyond the last date of the AP discount offer, and was charged the same rate each night. In the end, I think if you move, you lose, so I'd stay at the Polynesian.

How about if you move on the 26th? I bet you could do it then without renewing your pass.

That's clever gepetto, didn't think of it!
Try that RAV, but remember that beyond moving your bags, WDW considers your two stays separate vacations, requiring a separate reservation, deposit, and check-in process for each.
