View Full Version : Kids Go Free in Sept?

Anyone know what the deal with this is? I read somewhere about Disney running a special last Sept where kids got to fly free, stay for free and got their park passes for free. Can anyone give me info on this. We have a trip already planned for Sept and I am excited at the possibility of getting something "FREE" from Disney. Thanks everyone.

Disney hasn't released any information about that type of special for 2002. You are correct that it was available last year, but it hasn't been an annual offering historically.

An airline had a kid's fly free last sept...we looked into it and it cost more that way than just buying 3 tickets, so we ended up doing that. I certainly have never heard of free kid's park passes though.

Disney Travel is offering free kid's passes (with adult pass purchase) at DisneyLAND right now if you purchase the pkg deal.Who knows-- maybe they will offer something for the world sometime in September too?

Last Sept's deal wasn't as good as it sounded. It seemed to be offered by the airlines travel agencys. They quoted my kids free deal at almost twice the amount I paid when I just bought the tickets/airfare myself. You can do better by watching mousesavers and using codes.

did include airfare, hotel, and Disney tickets (ultimate park hoppers/length of stay) for one child under 12 (I think)/adult. For us it saved a great deal as we had three free children going. The airfare was inflated ($263 pp from Dulles), but for us it still saved in the long run because of the Disney tickets. I did price everything separately first with discounts available in June when this had to be booked and it did save us money (even with the ASMu discount of $49/night at that time and airafe at around $160pp which was the best I could find available at that time). As with any package deal, it depends on your family size and what other discounts are available at the time.
