Help - Need Trip Planning Advice!!!

We have been going to WDW 2-3 times a year for the last 5 years and thought we would have a change in 2008.

We already booked January 2008 to go to WDW so are looking at Sept/Oct 2008.

We want to go to both Disney Parks, Seaworld, Universal, Six Flags and Knotts.

Is it best to stay central to all these parks and if so, any hotel recommendations?

OR

Should we book hotels closest to each attraction?

How far are the attractions from each other, e.g. if we stay near Disney, how far to Six Flags, Seaworld, etc??

Any advice greatly received.

We stayed in Anaheim (Hyatt) and traveled to SeaWorld/San Diego Zoo. We actually booked a hotel overnight in San Diego for the two parks....but if you were just doing SeaWorld...it is doable. We also drove to Universal. I guess it depends on how much you want to change hotels???? We didn't do Knotts or Six Flags.:thumbsup2

Knotts is pretty close to Disney. Universal is between 45 minutes or 3+ hours away, depending on traffic. I haven't been to Six Flags, but I think it is further still. Seaworld is in San Diego, which is 2 hours away with no traffic.

Where you stay depends on how much you want to spend. I would check the boards for hotel reviews. If money is no object, stay at the Grand Californian!

Personally, I would break this trip into 3 sections: A couple of nights in the Northern LA area, to visit Hollywood, Universal, etc; at least three nights in Disneyland, and a couple of nights in San Diego. Have fun!
