I posted this on the transportation board but it is not gettin any replies. I was just wondering how the bus transportation is at cbr. I heard that you have to wait forever. also what other resorts does it stop at? and how many stops are there in cbr?

I don't really know how long a wait it is for the busses not having been there yet. I will be tho in May.
The busses take you direct to a park...they don't stop at any other resort. But, I think there are 6 stops or so in CBR so you can plan on that.

Personally, I feel that the buses there are bad. At least they were in January. It just seemed like there weren't enough. We waited for over half an hour for a bus at the Magic Kingdom one night. I know that a wait is expected, but at the CBR, it's a little frustrating because once you get there, you still have seven stops to make (six for the islands and one for OPR). Hopefully, it's gotten better. Other than that, the CBR is a great resort--it's really beautiful! Hope you have a wonderful trip!!

In August when I was there the buses were excellent, but I think it all depends on when you go, if its during peak times it will be more slow.

The busses are excellent, never had more than a 10 minute wait. Coming back at closing we did have to stand most of the time but, I think it is the same going to all of the resorts.

Thanx everybody for responding. I am so confused. We are going for 14 days in August. We are planning on staying at Wilderness Lodge for part of the stay. But cannot afford to stay there the whole 14. We are leaning towards a moderate for the rest of the stay. We loved fq but we know that it is closed. Never stayed at any other resort besides the fairway villas. The kids(4,7) like the beach so I thought cbr would be the best but i just heard terrible things about the transportation and the pool being small. I like the pictures i have seen for csr and i heard some good things about it. the pool looks huge but not sure if i want to stay there. we walked to por for breakfast a couple times but never really looked at the grounds or the pool. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TYA

Check out my CBR web site, the link is below! I have stayed there twice; last May and just a couple of weeks ago and both times the bus service was excellent. I have a lot of pictures and info on my site. :)

We were at CBR last week and never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus. :) It was the best transportation I've had at WDW. I think because it's such a big resort they have tons of buses. I was really impressed. ;)
