My husband and I are thinking about taking a cruise with our adult aged children. They are DD-19, DS-21 and DD-22. Do you think they'd enjoy a Disney cruise? I wouldn't classify them as your typical college students........They do like WDW, they don't drink, smoke or gamble and love to have good 'ol fun, but I've never been on the ship before and have no idea if there is enough for them to do while the ship is sailing. Any opinions out there??!?!?!

If they like WDW, I think they'd have a fun time on DCL! Your children are all old enough to access the adult areas and while the clubs all have bars, there are a lot of fun things going on. Karaoke, quizzes, Duelling Pianos, comedy shows, line dancing, etc, etc, etc .............. And being Disney, it's mostly clean, good 'ole fun! You don't have to drink to have fun!
Also thinking of "family time" around Quiet Cover Pool during the day (adult pool, over 18's only). There's game time there too - more good 'ole fun!
Then there's dinner at Palo - you can all get dressed up, have your pic taken (that would be a great addition to the family album!) and have a fantastic family dinner.
Shuffleboard tournaments, ping pong challenges, basketball showdowns ... so much fun, so little time - could be the vacation of a family lifetime - go for it!

Oh my gosh, take them!!! We took our 21 year old daughter and her boyfriend last month and they totally loved it. In fact, they are going another 2 times THIS year. They are exactly like you explained your kids to be. They did everything we did. Movies, shows, WaveBands, excursions.

If you are a close family and they want to go then by all means YES go as a family. Just think of the memories you will make and cherish the rest of your lives.
Tartanfan has given some very good suggestions.

By all means, YES! I was 18 when I went on my first Disney cruise last April...I went with my friend who was 19...and we had a BLAST...karaoke night, comedy, dancing, tons of games and plenty to do! We were going non-stop! In fact, there's not enough time to do everything (bummer). And I'm leaving for the 7-night Eastern Cruise this Saturday with my mom...and I CAN'T WAIT! Take your kids...it will be the best vacation...they'll love it!

Go for it!!! It would be great!!!
On two or three occasions, we have been seated with parents who were on the cruise with their adult children, and they all seemed to be having a great time. As the previous poster mentioned, there are great opportunities for some family "adult" time, such as Palo and the adult beach and pool (I also recommend the Rainforest in the spa). Disney is not a "smoking and gambling" kind of ship anyway...thre is definitely more of a family atmosphere (we have been on four RCCL ships, and that's one of the reasons we prefer Disney). You will have an awesome time.

Have no fear!!! I am currently onboard the Magic right now with my 18 year old daughter. She loves it!!! There is a group of about 14 of us, mostly adults and she is the only 18 year old in the group. She is having a blast hanging out with us in all the clubs and she absolutely loved Palos brunch!!!
We have not gotten to sleep until after 2 am every night!!!! The games shows are hysterical and she can't wait to come back again.
