We called them. they said they will not be open before March 1st. My dh told them he heard they would have a soft opening in Feb. They said they never heard anything about that. Are they playing stupid or what?:confused3

Oh well guess I won't have my wish. :sad1:

They are the ones that told me if I added aquatica as a 2nd park before dec 31 we would be able to attend the soft opening as an annual pass holder.
I don't have the number off hand but it is available on seaworld's website. I assure you what I have posted is what I was told when I added aquatica as a 2nd park to my annual pass for seaworld.

I'm sorry if you thought I was saying you were incorrect. I know you are right. I just said what we were told (in January). I assume that since the date of Dec.31st is past they just aren't talking about that offer anymore.

I was just trying to upgrade my passes to the park and they told me that they had some problems as they were testing everything. The official Opening is now April 14 but they will be starting soft openings on Mar 1. She did say that not everything may be open but they are hoping for a fully operational park then. I saw on Screamscape they said that they had a pipe burst under the wave pool and it washed out the liner and it would have to be totally rebuilt and she wouldn't confirm that.

I just found out about Aquatica and I would like some more information. We will be going in December. Is there any info about the ticket pricing structure?

I was wondering about season passes. I have a platinum season pass for Busch Gardens. I can get into Sea World for free, does this also apply to Aquatica?:confused3

You have to add it to your pass. When you add it to your pass your renewal date will start all over again. Sorry no freebies. Cost will go up too.

So are you all saying that only passholders will get in from March 1st until the official opening on April 14th? :confused3

We are just about to purchase park tickets including Aquatica which state they are valid from March 1st. APs would not be good for us coming from the UK. We have planned our whole trip around seeing this new park, my family will be so upset if we can't get in after a 4000 mile journey. :sad1:

I paid for Discovery Cove (March 3/08) with Seaworld and for an extra $35 I got Aquatica too. Why would Discovery Cove take my money and offer this too me if it were for passholders only?

WE are looking Forward to this...
