We were at DC on Dec. 20th. The dolphin swim was an unbelievable experience. We were able to interact with 3 dolphins. One was being trained. It was so cool! The water in the resort pool was so much warmer than I imagined. It was a great place to warm up. The water with the tropical fish and stingrays wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. The water we were in with the dolphins was quite chilly, but you forgot about the cold when you saw them. The setting was so lush and beautiful. I felt like we were on a tropical island. The only thing I was disappointed with was the food. We tried several things and didn't find anything that we really liked. Our pictures were great and we wound up spending $200 on them, but they were worth it and having the DVD of our swim is great.

Glad you had such a good day! We're going in April, and I am so excited. Sorry the food wasn't great. About how long were you there? Were you able to do something that evening, or did you feel wiped out from the day? We have a dinner ADR in Epcot and then we were planning on seeing Illuminations, but I'm wondering if we should just hang at the resort instead. That's great that you had 3 dolphins!

Isn't that just an amazing place? Glad you had a good time.
kirbydog we went early and stayed until they dragged us out of DC and then went to EPCOT, saw Illuminations then ate at Flying Fish. It was a long day but well worth it!

Kirbydog47- We got to DC at 8 a.m. and stayed until about 3 o'clock that afternoon. We could have stayed longer, but my DD started feeling bad. I wasn't feeling too tired. We had reservations at Chef Mickey for 8:20 that night and I could have made it to that if DD had been feeling better.

Thank you Squirlz and Momtotwoteens for that info. Just imagining the whole experience is helping me get through these cold New England winter days! Happy New Year!
