Oh I totally agree!

I believe that once there was an actual Santa. But now I personally know Mr. and Mrs. Claus. ;)

Haha same!
I believed in Santa (being an actual person) until I stayed up "waiting for Santa" one year and I saw my parents carrying gifts down from the attic. :rotfl:

Awww sad!

I actually found out on Easter Eve (hehe) a couple years ago. I was talking to my mom about it. And I always heard if you didn't believe then you wouldn't get presents. So I always said I did. Until on Easter Eve I told my mom I didn't believe. We sat in silence for about 5 minutes then she sighed and asked, "Do you want to help me hide the eggs and te baskets?" From then on I've always had to keep my presents a surprise. I was showed what I got for that holiday because mostly it was clothes so the Easter Bunny/Santa needed to make sure they fit. Like this year, I know what I am getting. I tried on the clothes/shoes and I already held my new shiny digital camera. I have sibs (6 & 8) so I have to pretend that "he" is real.

No.
But I guess I believe in his spirit. =)

ETA:
I don't really have any stories of figuring out he wasn't real. I just kinda grew out of it.

I still believe in that toy factory in the North Pole. No lie. I always have wanted to go there. Even if I don't really believe in Santa himself I totally believe in the North Pole toy factory/santa land!

I believe in the spirit of him. I believe in him as long as I could, until finally one day I asked my mom. She was silent for a moment, then she told me. Although I still will make her take down the presents while I'm sleeping. Just because I know he isn't real, doesn't mean we can't pretend.:cutie:

I was never fully told, well you know.
There were a few Christmasses where my gifts aligned all to perfectly, that made me question it.
And then one year when we were going to Disney, we spent Christmas at my grandparents and my parents accidentally put the Santa presents in a visible spot.
Both me and my older brother know, but we still get presents from him, we still leave cookies and such.

No, I don't think I've ever believed in Santa.

I lived with my grandparents since I was three months old and I don't think they knew anything about "Santa" so they didn't try to get me to believe in that stuff. And my family would always put the presents under the tree after they were wrapped, not on Christmas Eve.

And I never really watched Christmas shows and movies since my grandparents would usually always be watching TV.

I just grew out of it when I was around 8 or 9. I still love to put out mince pies and stuff, and I love pretending around my step-sister! No stories really, I just got older.

I think for me some of the christmas magic is gone because I know Santa isn't real. Like I remember christmas taking forever to arrive and I was always excited. But now-a-days, its like OMG! Christmas is already here? And then today I'm like it does not feel like christmas eve! And IDK why. Maybe because last couple years it has been gloomy on christmas so it seemed more winterish. IDK. I am excited though to get presents tomorrow and go back to Ohio!

I believed until I was 10, I think...

It mostly had to do with recognizing my parents' handwriting on the "From Santa" tags, and the fact that every present was wrapped in wrapping paper that we owned... :)

But I still believe in the spirit of Santa Claus and Christmas. That's what makes this time of year so great.

I believe in his spirit, but the real Santa is my dad and the real Mrs. Claus is my mom. I learned of this when... well... I just sorta grew out of it and I started talking to my mom about it. And she told me.

I do have a funny story about the Tooth Fairy, though. Once, my sister was looking for something and she found something in the upstairs bathroom cabinet; a tooth that she had previously lost. She showed it to my mom and dad, and my dad said, "You weren't supposed to find this! After the Tooth Fairy gives you money for your teeth, she gives them back to us so we can keep them!" Needless to say, I didn't believe in the Tooth Fairy after that!

My mum screwed up this year. She didn't write the 'from' on some of the gifts, so at the last minute she just wrote Santa on them.

No i dont believe in Santa.

Poo on you. :p

Yes, I believe. I think that whoever doesn't believe, doesn't get presents from Santa, but from their parents.

I don't plan on letting the magic fade away. Don't tell me otherwise please.
