I've rented points for stays at both VWL & BWV for this May - 2nts. @ each. I read on the ressie that if a member hasn't paid their dues you will lose ressie. Here is my concern: I called & emailed my BWV renter with a question and he never responded. Therefore, I'm a bit worried and would just like to check my ressie with CRO (DVC), but I think you have to be a member to get any kind of answer, right? Am I worrying for nothing? I've never rented before, so I'm not sure how all of the room requests and that stuff works. I've paid both in full and have received both ressies. Thanks for your help!:)

Technically, MS does not have to tell a non member anything. Realistically, they will. We rented points for a stay before we purchased DVC. I was able to call and confirm my reservation with no problem. I've recently rented some points to others and they had no trouble calling MS and confirming their reservation. You can even have MS note any preferences or requests you might have. Other than that, you can not make any kind of changes. Perhaps there are some CM's who are sticklers for the rules and won't tell you anything. If you get such a person, hang up and call back until you get someone helpful. Good luck - and I'm sure everything will be fine with your reservation.
