I have AKV value studio booked for 9 nights over President's week for myself and 3 of our kids. DH tells me today he will be coming with us.SUPRISE:headache: Of course MS is closed (...they are open Monday right???) Anyone think we have a chance of getting larger accomodations? If not, we'll have to rent a car and stay offsite:sad2:

You may be able to get a 1 or 2 BR somewhere but it may not be at AKV. If you get the 1BR you will need to bring an air bed and bedding unless one of those children can sleep in the pack and play. If they are older children (with one 18 or over in the room) maybe you can get another studio but that seems the most unlikely to me as I think they fill up first. That week is likely to be very difficult. You may also have to split between resorts over the 9 day period which might not be too bad if you could get 4 and 5 days at two resorts. Also try the waitlist if nothing works right when you call. I feel your pain- my issues usually go the other way where someone cancels - like the time I used points for 5 nights Christmas week for a GV and ended up with 5 people in it after planning for 9. Could have had another whole trip if we had been in a 2 BR for that same time frame. Have your finger on that phone tomorrow morning right at 9am. :tink: pixiedust: pixiedust: Hope it all works out

I thought I heard Presidents weekend was completly booked, but you might be able to get the other days.

Yes, when I called Fri/Sat/Sun were completely booked. You might try the rent trade board at this point. Or call at exactly 31 days out.
