I was wondering about that too :confused3 We haven't heard much from him since his last trip to FW

He doesn't post here much anymore, it loses the "magic" for him when he goes to the Fort. He reported such about 2 weeks ago.

He decided he couldnt hang with the BIG DOGS so he is relegated to sitting on the porch, once the baby comes the emasculation will be complete.

Yeah, Pete and I ruined Colson's life from all his years at the fort. We sucked all the info from him and left only the husk lol.

I think it was actually the ocean. He was singing about a mountain.

Singing about a mountain while crashing into the ocean? How poetic (sniff).

The important thing is that he's dead. Not Colson, John Denver.

John Denver's dead?

On October 12, 1997, Denver was killed when the Long-EZ aircraft he was piloting crashed just off the coast of California at Pacific Grove, shortly after taking off from the Monterey Peninsula Airport.

This is John Denver not Elton John , Kevin Bacon or Colson.

OK This came way to easy
colson has been the goto guy on the enclosed firepit to keep you flame out of the wind.
Elton john wrote candle in the wind.
Kevin Bacon danced like the wind in highschool in Footloose
John Denver's plane got loose riding the wind and he wrote Rocky Mountain High.
Sonny Bono was sking down a high rocky mountain into a tree some wished had not been there.
Colson supported removing the trees at the Fort.

I think we may have stumbled on to a conspiracy bigger than JFK and the grassy knoll.
COLSON IS Elton John,Kevin Bacon,John Denver and Sonny Bono.
A master of disguise would keep his head shaved for wigs, I've never seen any of them together and How do we know he went to Vegas???or maybe he was there AS ELTON...HHHMMMmm. Knowing that a family would take most of his time he had to start thinning out the alter Egos. Freak accidents or carefully planned reductions of external responsibilities?? You decide.
It's always the quiet ones:lmao: :rotfl2:

Here I am! Ok ok, so I see you guys missed me, and I missed this forum as well. Things just got a little busy!

Plus what was said was correct, the Fort had lost some of it's magic last trip, and I thought maybe it had to do with how much time I spent here. Came to realize it actually was a combination of things, which really had nothing to do with being here.

Fortunately, all of those things won't be happening on future trips, so I am once again excited to talk about the Fort with y'all ;)

And I am STILL a BIG DOG :P

Yes you are, Big Dog!!!! There was some mutinous (is that a word??) talk about renaming 'Colson's Crossing', but other than that I believe your golden!!!!!!! How is everything going for you and your family?!?!

Colson39
02-04-2008, 03:15 PM
Everything is going great. And yes, I saw the talk of renaming Colson's Crossing, in fact, I saw it when it was actually going on. Just wasn't posting at that time ;)

I mean, how could you rename that! There's plenty of room in the Fort for everyone! lol
