since I got a key - yea a real KEY.
really expected the place to be old and run down. It wasn't. the villa I had looked like it was recently rehab. new carpets, new furiture - everything worked (had a problem with the clothes washer - but I just changed the cycle.)
It was fine and would stay there again.
but future trips will probably be at CWR - got a new kitten!!

Any pics? Would love to see them, I've always wondered about this property.

I stayed by Bryan's Spanish Cove once. We lucked into one of the few units that faced the lake. It was windy and we loved listening to the waves through the open sliding door.
The only problem we encountered was with roaches. I had one jump from under the toilet seat onto my leg. Not an experience I'd care to repeat. I stepped on one in the dark and night and smushed it against my bare foot. When we were packing, we saw one running across the headboard in the master bedroom.
I realize bug control is all about timing. Hopefully, they have a more frequent treatment schedule.
I'd stay again, but it is also a bit down on my list from other favorite resorts.

boy saw no roaches or even ants - so guess I got luck. have a villa closer to the main road.
those lake views looked nice.
forgot - the locks on the doors - both the door lock and dead bolt use the same key. the front desk will tell you they don't. but do it yourself.
so if I ever stay here again bringing a door lock.
