Best rooms at ASMu Calypso or Jazz Inn

Can anyone tell me what the best non-smoking rooms are at Allstar Music's Calypso and Jazz Inn buildings ? By best I mean closest to Melody Hall .

I stayed in the Calypso Bldg. (#10), ground floor, facing the pool. It was perfect!!!

From what I have seen on ASMu's layout, I agree with Tuffcookie and say go with that Calypso building.

Another vote for the Calypso Building.

The Calypso buildings are the closest to the main building, the Jazz buildings are the second closest. Just remember, the Calypso buildings are now considered "preferred" and an additional $10 per night. Too many people "requesting" them and screaming at the front desk when they didn't get them.

We stayed in Jazz last April and loved the location. Not too far from food/buses and right in between the two pools!

I would opt for saving $ and try for Jazz.

Room 501 Calypso bldg 10! Corner room facing the pool, and just steps from stairs/elevator. It is on the 2nd floor..very close to Melody Hall. Of course, we were there last July when it wasn't extra for a closer building...but would pay it now!

We were in room 601. It didn't hardly take any take to get to the food court/lobby area. It was facing the swimming pool. We could hear people in the pool but it wasn't too bad..

I have stayed in both buildings and I personally like Jazz better. It is still a very short walk from the food court & bus stop but it is quieter because you are not right next to the main pool and I also like the fountain and little courtyard which is right in front of Jazz.
