my wife and i are taking a break from our honeymoon right now but i thought this was cool to share. we were riding the boat ride in 'the land' this morning and when we got off, the dream squad asked to talk to the guy about 4 rows back from us. he went through the presentation about everything and took them over to let them see what they had won....which turned out to be a night in the cinderella suite! it was pretty cool to watch and be excited for them even though we didn't win. i asked about it, and they said they were supposed to get the person in row 6, the seat closest to the platform at 9.14am, so it was totally random.

So close!!! I would be devastated!!! Good for you for being happy for them! At least you didn't change seats at some point and lose out because of it. LOL!

We saw this happen at Goofy's Barnstormer. The winning family was about 4 behind us, too. I was not as nice as you- I was devastated that we didn't win having been so close!:guilty: I eventually recovered, but honestly what made me feel so sad was the people's reaction- they didn't even seem to be excited. Maybe they didn't know about it, but wow, they were not showing any emotion. You are a better loser than I am!;)

I think a lot of times Guests have a delayed reaction to winning the Suite.I talked to a Dream Squad member last week who had awarded the Suite to a 40 year old woman. She said the woman showed little emotion until they got Backstage where the woman suddenly broke down and began crying.:)

I would probably jump and cry and laugh on the spot...but DM is much more reserved and would just smile...(but she would be just as excited on the inside)

i was okay with not winning. there's no point in sulking over something that it wouldn't do any good over. however, a couple of days later when we went to MGM, we were going into the Walt Disney Animation exhibit and there were Dream Teamers handing out pin lanyards with some pins on them so we got that dream. Now if they just would've caught us the day before before we had bought our other lanyard. :)
