It was an amazing wedding day and trip and the best part is I married my best friend, so I coudn't have asked for more. There was only one problem, which included us missing half of our dessert party :scared: but overall I had a truly amazing wonderful wedding!

Here are a few teaser pics...

Day One November 16th: Heading to Disney!

We woke up at 4:00am, my FIL was picking us up at 4:45 and out flight was leaving at 6:00am. I had barely gotten any sleep, I don't think I even fell asleep until 1:00am so we were very sleepy. As you can tell in this picture...Ben was being dumb be/c he said he knew it was for my TR and he wanted to look excited. Here we are at the airport waiting for our plane.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1895.jpg

Our flights were pretty uneventful, which was good. When we got to FL we headed down to the magical express and I was SO excited! When we got to the Boardwalk I almost started crying...pathetic I know but I kept thinking our wedding was just a few days away and the Boardwalk had been decorated for Christmas and it was so pretty. We checked into our room and I just about ran down the hall to get to it. I was excited to see our room. I couldn't believe we were finally there.

I was happy it seemed pretty big, we were going to have alot of people getting ready in there. We got the room with a child bed in it, which made it a little more spacious.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1897.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1900.jpg

I was really excited about our view. I assumed we would get a view of the parking lot, but we got a view of this lovely little fountain and courtyard. Plus the quite pool and hot tub was right out side our room too.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1903.jpg

I was so happy to be there and that our wedding was just a few days away, I was jumping up and down! Then I decided to kick back on the balcony.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1905.jpg

And then we posed for some picutures. Excuse how awful I looked, I had been on a plane since 6:00am, my hair was a little crazy.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1906.jpg

Ben was beat and wanted to take a nap, but I was too excited and hungry to sleep. So I convinced him to walk over to Epcot with me to get some lunch and pick up some last min things for my family's welcome bags. While we were there enjoying a drum and fife (sp?) band my mom called and said that they were there. They had driven down and had just gotten checked in to the campground. They were going to drive all the dresses and welcome bags over to me so we needed to get back the the boardwalk.

We got back to the Boardwalk and met my parents, brother (Josh) and SIL (Leah). They had brought my wedding dress, the BM dresses, groomswomen dresses, and all the welcome bags. Ben chatted with them for a few min and then decided to go MK to meet his dad and cousin for MVMCP. My mom and I would come later after we got everything squared away.

After he left I took the welcome bags for the Boardwalk to the front desk. I explained to the woman what I was doing and asked if there was any chance they could also send some to CSR and All-star Movies. She said they don't typically do it but she would got in the back and ask the "runner". When she came out she said it wouldn't be a problem if I got them too her right away. I was so happy, I REALLY didn't want to drive around to all the resorts. And all of them go there too!

Well after we got situated with the welcome bags my mom and I headed over to MK. Ben, his dad, and his cousin were already there and the rest of my family (my dad, brother and SIL) had decided they didn't want to go. Mom and I caught a bus to MK and the rest went to the ESPN club for dinner, they said it was very good but noisy.

However, before we left I grabbed a pictures of the Boardwalk's Gingerbread house. They were just putting it together when we checked in and I was SO happy. It was like the made it for me, I kept telling Ben it was a sign! (Donald Duck is my favorite character!)
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1908.jpg

When we got to MK we called Ben cause he had picked up our tickets at the ticket window. He met us and the front and he looked very happy. His family has never really understood why we go to disney so much and why we go at Christmas time. He said when he walked in with his dad and Jeffery, Wishes started as they walked up Main Street. He said his dad was totally amazed by Wishes and saying how impressed he was with Disney. Which made us both happy.

We grabbed a bite to eat and rode POTC. No line and I actually started to notices that is was pretty much empty at the park, hardly anyone there. I think since it was only the 2nd MVMCP and it was so early in the season that not many people were going yet. But it was great for first timers, cause they got to ride everything with no lines!

After that we decided we needed hot chocholate and cookies! We looked at the map to find out where we could find it and saw there was a station at the Diamond Horseshoe Review. We got there and also saw the the Woody's Roundup Gang was there. Just wandering around and there were so few people there we just walked right up to get pictures.

My mom with one of her favorites

As we walked outside one of the county bears chased my mom down and walked with her.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1909.jpg

We rode the Haunted Mansion and then we made out way into fantasy land (after getting more cookies and coco!) to find donald! I was so happy to get my picture with him all dressed a like a woodsman!

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1913.jpg

While they were waiting for me to get my picture the Queen of Hearts chased down Ben's dad and made him kiss her hand.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1918.jpg

We rode the tea cups and then walked out front to see the Chirstmas additon of wishes. It was SO good. I had never seen it before and they had this awesome nuctcracker part that was really cool. We also got to sit right in the middle of main street in the little circle thing in front of the castle cause no one was there! After the fireworks we rose Big thunder, and space mountian (NO LINES) and then got a few pics with Scrooge! I was so happy to see him cause I have never gotten picutres with this duck!

He gave me a kiss...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1921.jpg

And then we posed...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1923.jpg

We watched a little bit of of the parade before we left, I took picutres of the ducks...

Scrooge...not the best pics but oh well...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1933.jpg

After that we were exhusted and cold (it was very chilly that night). Parted at the bus stop and Ben and I went back to the Boardwalk and I think I was asleep before I even hit the pillow!

Next up: The Bridesmaids arrive and bachelorette/bachelor parties.

Day 2: Saturday November 17th

At 11:00 my two bridesmaids called and said they were on the magical express. They also said they had just decided to be going to the parks as soon as they got there. I decided I could go with them, the last bridesmaid was flying in at 4:00 and I would have to meet her but I could go with them for a while. (Note: The reason I had to meet all the bridesmaids was because I had their room keys cause they were staying with me before the wedding. The cool thing was my planner had made sure they were listed at juniors so I wouldn't get charged an extra person fee, saved us $50 a night!)

So they got there and we were off to the parks!

We went in through the Epcot back entrance.

As soon as we got to MK my friend wanted to hit the bakery to get a ice cream sandwich. I didn't even know they made these. Two warm chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. We all split it, it was very good, I highly recommend them!
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1956.jpg

We went and posed for some pics in front of the castle.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1957.jpg

We rode space mountain, the haunted mansion, and then went to the laugh floor. At this point, my 4th bridesmaid called and said her flight had just landed and I had to leave to go meet her at the Boardwalk. It was a fun afternoon though and I was so happy to have had the chance to hang out with some of my best friends in the happiest place on earth!

We were planning on doing the bachelorette/bachelor parties that night (Jointly). Frist we were going to eat dinner and then hit some of the BW bars. After everyone got back form the parks we decided we wanted to eat at the Big River Grill and Brewing Works. One of my bridesmaids made me this lovely hat to wear...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1964.jpg

I got a pomagrante martini as my first drink and got a cheese burger to eat. Everything was very yummy and everyone was happy with their food.

SIL/MOH and our food

On the far left is my burger, middle is my brother/best man's meat loaf, and my SIL/MOH is eating some kind of chicken. I highly recommend this resturant.

While we were eating I got a second drink, a peachy thing, and the peddeling piano guy came by. He asked what we were celebrating and then saw my crown. He sat and talked to us for a few min and played some wedding songs. While he was there, Illuminations started across the lake and we could see it! The piano guy said he was give us some music to go with the fireworks and he was really good with the timing, he had the fireworks memorized for he could do the music really well! It was cool.

Ben with the piano guy in the background.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/100_1970.jpg

As he peddled away, he played "I'm getting married in the morning" from my fair lady. It was very cute.

We went in Jelly Rolls and one of my bridesmaids bought me a sex on the beach. It was huge and so sweet, it was actually kinda gross. We were having a good time singing along dancing a little bit. Jelly Rolls was a lot of fun but it wasn't the best atmosphere for this type of night. I was sick fro mthe gross drink so we left there and headed over to ADH.

Us dancing in Jelly rolls...we were the only ones dancing...and I am not so sure they wanted us to dance...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/416458585503_0_ALB.jpg

When we got to ADH the dance floor was empy. My bridesmaids went to the dance floor, which was empty. I was talking to my brother, saying I wanted to leave and I turned around and the dance floor was full! Apparently everyone was waiting for someone to start dancing. We all ended up dancing and stayed there until it closed at about 1:30.

Here are some pics at Atlantic City Dance Hall. It was really fun, good music and lots of room to dance.

Group shot-here we are at the end of the night

Great reading - can't wait for more.

Glad to hear everything worked out in the end for your desert party.

I have to ask if you did the MK shoot. I really want to do this but do not want the new lights on the castle. They are beautiful and look amazing when they are turned on - but not sure how they will look in the morning for a MK shoot.

Linda: No we didn't do the MK shoot. It was just WAY too early for me to get up...haha. However, I have seen the castle with the new lights on and lights off and durring the daylight hours with the lights off you can hardly see that they are there.

Day 3: Day before the wedding!

Three of my four bridesmaids had stayed in my room the night before andwe all got up and headed out to the BW for breakfast. Here we are on the BW, you can see I am not really bright eyed and bushy tailed!

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n70201749_30672540_9971.jpg

I pretty much spent the whole day relaxing and making sure all my stuff was ready for the next day. I called the planner, photographer, and the hair/makeup people to let them know what room I was in. I ironed my dress for the rehersal and other than that basically just relaxed.

Our resheral was at 3:00. When my family and adventuring bridesmaids got there, we made sure we and had all the stuff we needed to give to the planner: ceremony CD, cake topper, card holder, and biorice. And then we headed to SBP!

I met Jennifer, our planner, for the 1st time. (Since my orginal planner quit after my planning session, I never had met Jennifer.)

And we met Rev. Randall Miller. He was terrific! He was cracking jokes left and right and just made everyone feel comfortable. I have to say, having Rev. Miller was probably the BEST decision we made. He was AMAZING. I will go into more details at the ceremony recap. He went around and introduced himself to everyone. He chatted with my dad about sports for awhile (he used to be the minister for the Cowboys) and completely put my nervous dad at ease. Rev. Miller was just a terrific guy.

The rerhersal went very well, we all had fun and laughed alot. Here are some pics...of course I had to wear the ears...

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013333.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n753088704_253809_7089.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013328.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n753088704_253807_6605.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n753088704_253808_6840.jpg

When we finsihed Rev. Miller clasped Ben and my shoulders and gave us a little pep talk (felt like we were in a football huddle). He told us to enjoy dinner, get some sleep and be there tomorrow expecting a fairy tale. He really got us pumped up! I can't say enough, HIRE HIM!

Then we headed over to Fort Wilderness for our rehersal dinner. I really wanted to have it here because this I always stayed as a child (it is where my parents still stay most of the time) and it just had SO many great memories for me. I kinda feel like I grew up there,

Of course, I am an idiot. Our rehersal ended at 3:30 so I told everyone to go back to their rooms and we would meet in the lobby at 4:00 (dinner was at 5:00). Now I know disney transportation is slow and I even put in the letter I placed the welcome bags that when traveling with disney transport, give yourself 1.5 hours. So I don't know why i didn't take my own advice, we should have left at 3:30. We had decided not the charter a bus since there was really only about 10 people who needed transportation cause they didn't have a rental car. So we were going to take a bus to MK and then a boat to FW. Well, of course, we just miss the bus when we get to the bus stop and they just miss the boat when we get to MK.

Here is a pic of us on the boat...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n817942919_225900_7534.jpg

We had a buffet set up for us at Clementine beach, it was a really nice setting and was lovely night out. The food was great! We had...

NY Strip Steak
BBQ chicken
Garden Salad
Pasta Salad
Cole Slaw
corn on the cob
Build your own bake potato
Hot apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream

Here is the buffet tables, you can see the lake in the background.

Another bufffet shot...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013341.jpg

The table set under the trees. The tables are empty cause everyone is in line for the yummy food. We also gave out favors that you can kinda see on the table. They are old fashioned jars with salt water taffy inside.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013343.jpg

I made the rounds:
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013353.jpg

This is my grandma...she is 80 and has only left our small home town about 3 times in the past 50 years, so this was a BIG deal for her. My brother took her shopping at her hotel and got her a mickey mouse shirt, mickey mouse purse, new crocs, and mickey earings.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013354.jpg

The food was great and everyone was raving about that. It was very casual and a beautiful setting. I am really glad we decided to have the dinner there.

After dinner we boared the boats to go back to MK and then to our respective hotels. Ben was staying with his dad at CSR and I was at the BW with my bridesmaids. When we got to MK we were going on separate buses. It was funny cause I turned around to kiss Ben goodnight and I was like "see ya tomorrow!" and started to walk away without really thinking. Then Ben was like, "yup, see you walking down the aisle!" I burst out laughing and realized I should have done a more formal goodbye.

So we went back to our room, painted our toe nails, talked, I took a bath and we went to bed. I really, really wanted a goodnights sleep. After all....tomorrow was my wedding day :woohoo: .

Next up: The Wedding Day!

What a FUN report! How did you like SBP as a ceremony location? My boyfriend and I are soon to be engaged :goodvibes and hopefully married in the next year/ year and a half. i thought sbp looked great, but i'm afraid 1) it will rain and then will where we go? and 2) there will be too many random people around 3) it will be too hot!

i can't wait to see how it went for you. thanks for the teaser pics (and i love the pics in your sig!) hoping for more soon! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Erin: Congrats! I loved SBP! 1.) It is pretty well covered so I assume that unless it was a downpour, you could still get married there if it was sprinkling. But the back up location is in one of the boardwalk ballrooms, so you would def have a back up no matter what. Your planner would book it for you. 2.) I don't even remember random people at all. There must have been some but I was so wrapped up in the moment I didn't notice. Plus, it is fun to have random people see you! Everyone is so nice to brides there, it is fun. 3.) We had the 2:30 time slot...hottest part of the day! But it was Novemeber and it was like a high of 78, so we were okay. We had a short ceremony.

Hope this helps!

Emily,
I'm loving your TR so far, your pictures are great, you look like you're all having so much fun!
I especially love your pictures around the Boardwalk, this is one of my fave places at WDW.

Can you tell me more about your bridemaids dresses (designer, style etc) as they look similar to a wedding dress I have my beady eye on and these dresses might make a really good match for it!

Thank you, and looking forward to more reporting....:thumbsup2

The dresses were from Davids bridal..they were separates. If you go to their website there is a separates too that. We loved them and the separates were great for the girls cause they could get different sized tops and bottoms so that they could get a good fit and spend less on alterations!

Day 4: The Wedding Day!!: Part one getting ready

7:00am: I woke up a few minutes before my alarm when off and decided just to get up and shower. I was feeling okay, a little nervous but not too bad.

My dress hanging in the closet
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/561859585503_0_ALB.jpg

8:45am: The hair people got there. I used Valencia salon on wheels. I really didn't have a reason for picking them, just that they had a website I could look at. ( I booked them before I found the wonderful DIS boards and you wonderful ladies so I couldn't get your opinions on who to hire). They came in a started working right away, there were two of them Valencia and her assistant.

10:30am: They start working on me! I had brought some pictures from getting my hair done at home and directions written down my hair person, however for some reason I felt strange giving Valencia the directions. I told her this is basically what I want, so do what you think you need to get there. I should have been more involved in what she was doing, I couldn't even see since we were not in front of the mirror. Oh well.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n817942919_225462_4466.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/n817942919_225463_4920.jpg

In the end, I was happy with it at the time. She didn't straighten the top like my stylist at home did, and I kinda wish she had. I was happy then but then I looked at pictures when I got home and I wasn't thrilled with it.

11:00am: Valencia did my make-up and then moved on to do my moms, then they left. Well, my mom didn't like her make-up. She was really upset about it but she didn't know how to fix it. I liked my hair and make-up at the time (though when I saw pictures I would start to think otherwise). However, over all I was mostly happy with the Valencia salon on wheels. All my girls hair looked good and they did 8 different hair styles and two make-ups in 2.5 hours. So that was pretty good. However, I wasn't blown away by their service, so if I did it again I might go with someone else who had a more outstanding experience.

11:30am: I went to put my contacts in and one of my contact won't go in and my eye starts running, bad! It runs off almost all my foundation on that cheek. Inside I was kinda freaking out, but outside I tried to stay cool. I tried to even it out with some tissue and then I found a sponge in the garbage that she used to apply my foundation, there was a little left on there so I managed to smooth it out and it looked okay.

Right after I fixed my make-up, Misty Miotto got there, she came in the room and started working. She asked for my dress so she could get some pictures of it hanging in the window. I was headed into the bathroom to get my bra and slip on when I remembered something. Misty did make-up! So I ran out and asked her what she thought I should do to my mom to make her make-up look better. I didn't have a lot of make-up to work with, but I thought maybe I could do something. Misty pulled her phone out and called her husband and asked him to bring her make-up kit. Misty was going to save my mom! :woohoo:

While we waited for her husband to get there, we got me dressed. Misty took lots of fun photos of Leah and my mom getting me dressed. Here are are some Misty pics. I can't say enough good things about her, really. She was so nice the whole day, made my mom look great, and took wonderful pics. She was like having a good friend there with me all day, not just a photographer. Here are some of the getting ready pics she took.

After I was dressed Misty's husband and my dad and brothers came in. Misty started working on my mom's make-up. a She really did a good job too, my mom was thrilled and when I asked her how much I owed her for it, she said not to worry about it. It was so nice.

We posed for a few family pics and some more of me in the room and then headed outside for pics and then into the lobby.

Misty was really, really great. Again I was worried cause I booked her before I found the Dis boards and I know everyone uses Randy. But I was really happy with her. She stayed with my the whole time and took pics and her husband went to do pics with the guys. They were both so so nice.

We did some more pics and then she sent the BMs away and we did some pictures with just me. I wan't thrilled with the locations because they wouldn't let me go outside on the BW cause there was another bride :ohno: (Disney wouldn't let us see eachother so I felt kinda slighted cause I had to stay hidden away) and then Ben had to go out there, we just wandered around the BW looking for places to take pics. We actually ended up going up to The Attic (where the reception was) and did some there and then went out front to the big BW sign.

I actually got it from the World of Disney Store in DTD. I also saw it in a few of the shops in resorts (the poly I think). It was about $150 I think? (A little more than I wanted to spend but I loved it!)

2:00pm Well like I said, before I knew it it was time to walk down the aisle. We met Jennifer in the lobby my dad and bridesmaids were waiting there too. Jennifer said it would be a few min before they were ready for me so I flopped down in a chair next to my dad. Misty thought this was hilarious that I was totally chilling in a chair before the ceremony so she took pics. But honestly, while I sat there an absolute calm came over me, I felt so relaxed and happy. Jennifer said they were ready for us and we headed down the stairs to the BW.

Chilling with my dad and mom

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/202102.jpg

2:15pm: As I went out a few people yelled congrats and I waved at them, it was so fun. When we got to SBP I saw that my brothers were keeping Ben turned away so he couldn't see me. I joked and ducked behind the bridesmaids to hide, I was totally amazed how relaxed (which is not typical for me!). The BMs made a wall around me and we waited for the ceremony to start.

SBP looked wonderful. The florists did a great job...here is some ceremony flowers..

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/softflower.jpg

Cannon in D started and Jennifer told me it was time. We used a CD player, speaker and AV tech provided by disney for music. It worked great, the sound was nice and full and we got to pick the exact versions of the songs we wanted. We just downloaded the songs we wanted and gave the CD to Jennifer. We started walking down and I truly couldn't be happier. It is kinda cool at SBP cause you can't really see the groom until you get closer, I couldn't wait to see Ben's face. (The pic of us walking down the aisle is just a pic from a friends camera...not a Misty one. I think all but one of the rest are Misty pics)

Here is Ben when he saw me...

Me with my dad...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/21144.jpg

I don't remember all Rev. Miller's words but I know they were perfect, everything he said was beautiful and meaningful. We also had some fun too...anytime something went "wrong" (like asking the wrong person for the rings or my brother messing up his part) Rev. Miller just laughed it off and it totally lightened the mood.

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/21264.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/21259.jpg

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/21150.jpg

Finally Rev. Miller declared us husband and wife and then gave us a few charges to consider in our marriage. They were all very sweet and true. We kissed and we were married, it was a truly magical ceremony. When Rev. Miller announced us we turned to walk but our music didn't start right away. Now, I had spent alot of time deciding on the recessional music so I held Ben's hand back to make him wait for it to start. Then it did and I felt like I was floating. It was one of my favorite songs, "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. You know the one that starts out with Ooooooo, oooo, ooo, ooo? Haha, well if you know it you know is a beautiful song and everyone went "Awwww". We were finally married!

Our wedding kiss
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/vintagekiss.jpg

We then did a staged exit with biorice. I swear, all the rice went down my dress! For the rest of the day I was picking biorice out of everywhere!
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/kiss.jpg

We did the standard pictures as well, family and bridal party. I was really happy with how the look of the Groomswomen blended into the wedding. I thought it looked completely natural. I guess I forgot to upload a professional one...this is just from a friend...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013503.jpg

I did feel like Jennifer's assistant was rushing me a little bit through our post-wedding pics. I thought we would have until 4:30 to do pictures with just us and I wanted some good ones on the BW since they hadn't let me out there earlier. Plus, I wanted to soak it all in. As we walked people were yelling congrats and cheering for us, it was fun. Well, the assitant told Misty that we had to get up to the Attic so we went.

We got to the reception and I discovered it was only 4:00. I was a little annoyed cause I felt like Ben and I didn't get many pictures of the two of us. But Misty said that she would sneak us out later to get some. Oh how I love Misty...haha,.

Hi Emily,
I just read your TR! Everything sounds amazing! I'm so happy to see another bride on here who has Jennifer for a planner! I just got assigned to her a couple of weeks ago, and couldn't find anyone on here who had her! Also, I wanted to get some info about your rehearsal dinner if possible. Like you, my family would always stay at the cabins when we went to disney, and also my DF proposed there, so I think that would be a great place to have the rehearsal dinner. Any details that you could give me would really be helpful. I'm basically wondering about pricing and set up fees.TIA!!!:goodvibes

I love  the pictures that Misty does where some things are in B&W and some are in colour - do you also get the originals of the photos, or just the touched up versions?
Also, are some normal colour and some B&W to start with?
I'm thinking of doing her No-Frills CD package, then adding on prints of what we choose later, so once you own the rights to all the photos, they're easy to convert to B&W yourself, so I was thinking of having them all done in colour, but I would like her to do the mixed B&W / colour ones too, I'm sure I could do this, but the time and effort puts me off!!
So basically, after that long winded waffle, what I'm trying to ask is, do you get each photo in normal colour as well as the B&W/specialised ones or were some only in one format?

Thanks!:rotfl: :upsidedow

Jennifer was very nice. I had a unique situation since my orginal planner quit and I went with Jennifer 1/2 way through the planning. There were a few thoughts that got lost in the shuffle, but for the most part everything went well.

Thank you!

I used Misty's platinum package...so I had unlimted hours and over 2000 pics. She sent me a CD with all of those pictures on it and most of them in color and in B&W. I think she picked her favorites from each pose and put them in B&W. So it was most that we got both, but not all.

As for the special effect ones..she just did a select few of those. She kinda splits the pics into 4 categories...before ceremony, ceremony, reception, and formal pics. From each of those categories she did a few photoshopped ones.

I hope this helps! (I hope you use Misty!...I can't say enough good about her)

The Wedding Day:Part 3- The reception

Note: Most of the pics in this post are Misty Miotto pics but not all.

When we got to the reception it was about 4:00. I was slightly bothered that we hadn't spent as long taking pictures with just Ben and I but I was so happy about the ceremony, I moved on quick.

The Attic looked so pretty! For those of you who don't know where the Attic is, here is a pic. It is the area above Jelly Rolls, with all the glass windows and the big curved porch.

And then I saw my cake...oh how I loved my cake. It was absolutly perfect! My cake topper I found on-line and my mom bought for me. It really made the cake!

We had a pre-reception spread that looked great! We had a cheese/cracker display, fruit display, and mini pigs in a blanket :laugh3:. Ben's choice! Well, I hadn't really eaten in about 4 days and suddenly I was starving! So I loaded up a plate of food and grabbed a glass of champange punch (which was SO yummy!). I made the rounds and chatted with everyone and then went and got another plate of food.

Soon I felt kinda sick...I had eaten really fast and my stomach wasn't really ready after not eating all day. I know I should have eaten

But after the pre-reception stuff it was dinner time! I loved the food...but unfortunatley I wasn't able to eat hardly any. I swear, I am so sad I didn't get to eat enough food. However, I have to say the food was AMAZING. Everyone kept saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The little bit that I ate tasted wonderful. Here is a pic of the buffet.
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/24178.jpg

After dinner (it was about 5:15, it didn't take me long to eat since I hardly ate anything) Misty came up to me and asked me if I wanted to sneak outside to get some pics with Ben and I . We did some really fun pics with Misty and came back in about 30min later.

Jennifer said we could start out 1st dances at anytime. So Ben and I got out there to dance to "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds. It is not a super popular song, but we both love it. Ben and I are both really into alternative music and are die hard fans of our local independent radio station, so Ben Folds was a good choice for us and I LOVE the song. If you haven't ever heard it I highly recommened giving it a listen.

We danced out on the porch on the part that sticks out over Jelly Rolls so it had a beautiful back drop.

When our song was over, it was time for my dad and I. We danced to "You've got a Friend in Me" from Toy Story. My dad loves Randy Newman and this is one of his favorite songs. I instantly grabbed me and started swinging me around. Our guests were cheering and laughing, who knew my dad could dance like that?!

After our dance we had the mother/son dance. Ben's mom dosen't like to be the center of attention and my mom never danced with my brothers at their weddings so they danced too. I have two brothers though so they had to cut in half way. They danced to the "Rainbow Connection" by Kermit the Frog. :)

By brother Josh went first. Then my brother James cut in and danced with Josh. Eventually he went back with my mom, and then all three danced together. My family, a bunch of hams...
http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/P1013550.jpg

We danced around to our playlist (I made the playlist on our ipod and Disney hooked it up to speakers with an AV tech) for a while and I was really happy because everyone was commenting on our song choices. I made the play lists and it took me FOREVER. It was a mix of our favorite songs that were meaningful for us. Everything from the Killers, the Thriller song, the Monkeys, to Kiss the girl.

Then I saw Donald! Yay! He was so cute in his top hat and tails. He came and greeted me and we cut the cake.

My face when donald got there...

Emily - when I saw that first pic of your sweetheart table, I had to laugh - that's exactly where we told our WP we want ours, and she freaked, said it was not possible, the Attic has a specific layout, no one had ever done it, etc. (this was four months ago). I totally want to email her that picture :rotfl:

Wow, wonderful pictures. I just love that cake topper. We want Mickey and Minnie but I do not want the regular posed wedding topper - I think yours is great - Donald and Daisy seem to be having a great time. I also love your hidden Donalds. The Attic looks so pretty. We are having our reception at ADH right across the way and we have an outside balcony also - hope our weather is as nice as yours was.

Looking forward to reading more.

Wow, that is so strange! i didn't even expect the set up to be that way, orginally they told me the cake would be there and out sweatheart across the room. But it all got changed when my planner got changed. I think somewhere I have the floor plan they gave me, I will have to look for it. Go ahead and send that pic if you want to!

Alright dessert party! Sorry it has taken me while!

Wedding Day: Part 4- Desset Party

Alright, well we had a little hiccup with the dessert party. The whole thing is still kinda mystery to me, not sure what happened and it still kinda bothers me. However, everything did turn out alright in the end, so don't worry! ;)

So at some point in the reception, I don't know when Jennifer comes up to me and asked me if anyone wanted to walk to Epcot for the DP. I was very surpised by this since walking had been my orginal plan and the planners said it was too far of a walk and what if it rained, etc. etc.. She had suggested either a bus or limos, of course, limos are more fun. She said we could do two limos that would each take two trips (limos seat 8 people each). Sounded fine to me and I assumed that we would just plan ahead for the fact that they needed to take two trips.

Anyway, after she asked me I looked around and decided that since we had gone to the trouble to book the limos, everyone looked tired, and that I really didn't want to walk around and ask everyone if they wanted to walk or ride we would just stick with the limos. So Jennifer says ok and said we would start getting ready to leave at 7:30, and have the 1st set of limos headed over at 7:45ish. Sounded good. So the reception goes on and it is seeming kinda late so I ask someone what time it is. 7:45...hmmmm, I thought we should have been loading the limos by now. So I see Jennifer standing over there and I go ask if we should leave she is like "Oh, are you ready to go?" I was thinking "I thought you were supposed to tell me when to go" So she says she will go check to see if they limos are there yet. Well, the Attic is a LONG way away from the lobby and I don't know why she needed to talk and not just call down. Anyone who has gotten married there know there is a whole team of people in constant communication on head sets but for some reason she has to walk. Then she comes back and says they are there. So I start to get everyone ready to go (of course everyone is SO SLOW because they don't realize we are running behind.) So we get down there and load up the 1st set of limos. They leave and it is nearly 8:00. Now logically, the UK is very close to the boardwalk so I assume they will be right back. Our DP was supposed to run from 8:30-9:30 with the fireworks at 9:00. (We didn't go on the 1st set cause my BMs wanted to go back to the room to grab sweaters.)

So we wait, and wait. I am starting to get antsy and Misty calls me over for some pics. A guest later told me that they thought she was just trying to keep me busy so I didn't get upset. I loved Misty.

We took some fun pics while we waited.

I look kinds dumb in this but the couch was cute

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb191/ecoon5/23431.jpg

Finally the limos showed up, I asked Ben what time it was....8:30!!!! Our DP was supposed to be starting now! but it couldn't take too long...right???

About 20-25min is how long it took! Shouldn't they have planned for this! So we get there and I fly out of the limo. As soon as I get out I hear the Illumination announcement that it will be starting in 5 min (or 10...can't remember). So I hustle up to the gate to let us in and the woman tells me I can't get in! I have to wait for my whole party. Well the other limo was a little bit behind us and then they get there are my brother is taking pics of my grandma with the limo driver (not really realizing we were in a rush). I yelled (and I do mean yelled) back at them to hurry it up. So while I am standing at the gate with the CM and I am obviously upset and mad she won't let Ben, Misty and I in to get ready for pics. 1/2 of our group is already in there. She keeps saying it is fine, the fireworks haven't started yet and it will be fine. I was like, "no, it isn't fine, I am 1/2 hour late" She ROLLS her eyes and says "Honestly, it is just inside you will get to see your fireworks" in a very condesending tone. Luckily, Misty jumped it and told the woman I had every reason to be upset I was waiting for a really, really long time. Again, Misty was the greatest. I know it must get annoying for the CMs dealing with finicky brides but this is my wedding day and this dessert party was one of the main reasons I wanted to get married at Disney and I was missing it!

Finally we get in and I am storming through the UK, really mad and then one of my BM's taps me on the shoulder and says "hey they are clapping for you" I turn around and everyone at the Rose and Crown area is on there feet clapping. I had such mixed feelings at this point, I was so happy they were clapping and so mad at Disney for ruining this moment for me (I might have been over dramatic...but you can understand why).

We get in there and Misty immediately has to set us up for pictures. I didn't get to eat any desserts, get a drink or even talk to my guests before the show, it was starting as soon as we walked in. Just before the fireworks started my phone rang (it was in Ben's pocket) it was Jennifer! (She didn't come to the dessert party with us). She asked me if everything was okay she has heard we had some trouble. I almost started yelling saying "Yes we had some trouble and I am NOT happy about it!" Jennifer said she was going to call Epcot and work something out and let me know about a refund when I got back from the honeymoon. I felt a little better about this and I was hoping that they would let us stay later. Then the show started and it is just so cool I couldn't stay mad. Misty told us to face her most of the time so we didn't really watch the fireworks but I guess this is a once in a lifetime chance to get pics like this so it was worth it. Though I still would have liked to watch a bit more.

Here are some pics...

After the show the CM that rolled her eyes at me came over and told me the party had been extended to 9:45. I felt this wasn't much of an extension but at least it was something! But then she said the unless people wanted to walk back 1/2 of the group would still have to go at 9:30. That annoyed me but I knew no one would want to walk so I said just send half of them back. Well, the she tells me I should go tell everyone they need to leave. I was like, "Me?? Can't you make an announcement??" Mind you I still hadn't had one dessert or drink, so I was very very annoyed that I had to round everyone up. Throughout the rest of the day Jennifer did that so why should I start?? Luckily, my cousin was walking by and he had come on the 1st limos and said he would round everyone up. I was very grateful and finally had a dessert and a drink. Then we waited for the limos come back for us and it wasn't until 10:00pm! I wasn't too upset cause I got to stay my full hour but I thought it was stupid. If they can't get the timing of the limos down, then they shouldn't offer it as an option! However, it was interesting to watch Epcot clear out after the fireworks. However, i still think I would have rather gotten there on time.

So we headed back to the BW and everyone else was there waiting to take the limos back to the other resorts. When we got there, I ended up directing everyone and make sure everyone was going where they needed to go. I loaded up one limo with CSR people and the other with All Star and WL. I was a little annoyed that I was out there in my wedding dress directing people, but oh well.

We got settled in. Our room didn't have agood view at all...just looking at a roof of the walk way in, but it did open up to the lobby and we had some nice rocking chairs right outside the room so that was nice. No pics though cause I didn't have my camera.

We had a few little bumps in the road but all and all, it was an amazing wedding. I think about it everyday and I hope I never forget how happy I was they day I walked down the aisle to my best friend.

Wow I'm pretty upset at what happened at your dessert party. First of all, the timing should have been handled WAY better than that. That's just ridiculous. And second, I cannot believe a CM was so condescending to you on your freakin wedding day. You should have remembered their name and called Guest Services. It might not have done much but that's completely unacceptable behavior for a cast member and that persons manager should know. I work for Disney so this sort of upsets me on a personal level...I'm sorry for that persons actions!

I'm glad that you got some beautiful pictures though! Your wedding looked absolutely amazing. I cant wait to hear about your first day as a married couple!

Great update Emily! I'm so sorry that you had to go through all that added stress during your DP and missing half of it . That CM was really rude and it was totally uncalled for. Did Disney end up giving you that refund or do something to make all this up to you?

Hopefully your guests still had a good time and your pictures came out great by the way!

We're having a dinner only reception at The Attic from 6:00 to 8:00 and then the dessert party at 8:30 at Upper UK. I've expressed concern that it doesn't sound like we have enough time MANY MANY times, but Pam Pierce and my planner keep saying that the timing will be perfect and there is nothing to worry about.

Thank you! I did tell my planner about what happened with the CM. I felt bad, maybe i was being over sensitive but I didn't feel like I was getting a lot of customer service. However, I have tried to stay postive. I got to be there for the whole show, I did get to eat desserts. But I really only got to socialize with 1/2 of our group. Since the 1st group got there on time and left before me. It makes me sad, but I think the guests had a great time.

My DF and I were working on our invitation list and budget last night and I just had to show him your pictures. We both really loved the way they set up your table with the candles. I was wondering if you would mind letting me know what type of charge they charged you for the candles. Our reception is at the ADH and it is a big room and I am not sure how we will decorate it yet. We have a good handle on all our costs except our floral - I am at a complete loss about these costs and any help would be appreciated. My email address is lpizzuro123@comcast.net or send me a PM.

Emily,

What a beautiful wedding day you had. I love the pictures. We have Misty booked for our VR in November. I would love to have the PW for your pics...we will have our ceremony at SBP then off to Ariel's then the lower UK for our dessert party. So your pics will be very helpful.

:badpc: I absolutely hate the way you were handled by the CM...OMG!:scared1: I'm afraid my DH would have walked clean over her and not stopped...I think we are going to choose the walking mode of transportation from Ariel's to our DP. I'm telling everyone to wear comfortable shoes for this event. I'm wearing Diva Killers for the ceremony but it's ballet shoes for the rest of the evening!:rotfl:

Are your guests using park tickets for entrance because you are walking, or can you still pay the $12.50 viewing fee and have them walk in?

Emily, thanks for providing me with the price for the candles in the water with the floating pedals. 5.75 each is a great price and they look so beautiful. Our colors are red so I thinking having floating red pedals would look great with the white candle. I am so happy I found your pictures. Thanks also for your full budget. Would you mind emailing me your password when you get a moment so I can look at the rest of your photos.

Actually meryll, I'm not sure. Bill has just been telling us we could walk and save the expense of a motorcoach. Now I know I'll have to have some type of transportation to get everyone back to their respective hotels. I' haven't given that a ton of thought yet. Although, I've been keeping up with lurkyloo's transportation troubles, and that has me a bit worried.

BTW--I love your PJ

Emily,
I love the last picture you posted of you and DH at Illuminations...even though you feel you have a strange look on your face. It's really very pretty. You can see the glow of your faces. :wizard: It's kinda like after the Superbowl..."Emily and Ben...you've just gotten married, now what are you going to do?"......"WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!":cool1:

Thanks!

We were going to walk but then we needed more for our budget so we thought that the limos would be fun for everyone. I kinda regret it now cause of what happened. But they were useful in getting everyone home after the DP.

Hi Emily,

I PM'd you! :thumbsup2

You can still pay have the $12.50 veiwing fee and have them walk only if you are having your recepetion at one of the BW area locations. Otherwise they force you to get transportation. If your guest are usings passes that day, you wouldn't have to pay for their viewing fee. Same is you have APs. You just have to bring them with you to the DP and the people there will scan them or something. Hope this helps!

Linda, I just e-mailed you! I think those candle holders would look great with red! :thumbsup2

Haha, thanks! I was bummed I looked kinda crazed in that one...but maybe it is just me! Good luck with your transportation issues. Let me know if you have any questions, I might be able to help.

You're pictures are gorgeous, I think we are definitely going to go with Misty!

We're going to be at the Living Seas Salon so is this a no-no do we think?

We also haven't quite decided on which ceremony time, so potentially there could be a gap in which case I suppose we'd have to pay for the transport hire again to pick everyone back up for the DP.

So can you use the Limos instead of the coach for guests??
There will only be about 25 of us, so hiring 2 limos at $250 is it for 3 hours minimum? would be cheaper than the coach at 80whatever for I think it's a 5 hour minimum.....

I love this place - you can truly find out ALL the options available to you!

Thanks so much for sending me your password! Your pics are just gorgeous. I booked Misty for our date, and I'm super excited about it. We also signed up to get an engagement session done. I was just wondering if you had done this as well, and if you did, what location you chose.
We also haven't signed the contract yet. I'm just a little nervous, b/c Disney won't let us sign our contract until April. I was wondering if you went ahead and signed your contract with Misty before you signed with Disney. I'm just getting paranoid! Thanks again!

DH and I finally got through all your pictures and we are excited about having Misty for our VR. I would love to use some of your pics as examples of things we like. There are so many and I couldn't think of chosing a favorite. She has a good eye (and in your case--good subjects to shoot).

Looking forward to more from you. And I may just take you up on the questioning. We are planning a PS in May...I may have some things to get with you about before then.

Lots of pixiedust: to you and Ben for a magical life together!

I just read your trip report and have to congratulate you on your marriage.

Everything looked wonderful, the shots of Misty's that you posted on here look fabarooney. I loved your BM dresses.

I thought you looked beautiful, your hair, your dress.

The Attic is a wonderful location and so happy you enjoyed your reception there.

Thank you for sharing your day with us :)

Another bumped thread, and another sign that I should have been on the board much sooner, so that I could ooh and ahh at all the pick-ups.

People are going to start calling me the Pick-Up Girl. Ooh, that doesn't sound all that great, does it?

But all jokes aside, I was blown away by all the pictures, professional and not. Not only did it look like you had a wonderful time (and look at all those pick-ups!), you were absolutely stunning. The photography was just amazing.

Thanks guys! I was surprised to see a new post on my TR, it has been over 6 months from my wedding and I am so sad it is over but I am so glad people are still enjoying my TR. It was an amazing day! :goodvibes

Jennifaerie: I am a big fan of pick-ups (as you can see from my wedding!)! So I don't think being a pickup girl is a bad thing... :) Thank you!

Thanks!! I hope it turns out half as beautiful as yours! I had to have Donald. He is my favorite character. It took a lot of whining to my Fiance to get him but it will be worth it..lol

Your cake was great!!! I didn't even know they could do one like that. I am going for the mad hatter style of cakes. I have to say though your TR really sold me on the Attic. I wasn't too sure about it at first but your pictures were great. I am even having Misty do our pictures...lol. I am a copycat...I know...:lmao:

If you would not mind me asking, what kind of food did you have at your buffet, for the reception?

It looked so yummy?

Hmmm..let me try to remember what we had to eat. I have the menu written down somewhere but I am too lazy too look.

Pre-reception:
Fruit display
Cheese display
Mini pigs in a blanket (yup, you read that right, classy huh?):lmao:

For dinner:
Garden salad (they set it up kinda like a salad bar, which everyone loved)
Antipasto Display
Parmesan risotto
Basil Mashed potatos
Parmesan Crusted chicken breast
Beef carving station
Seasonal veggies

It was all AMAZING! Unfortunately, like most brides I didn't get to eat much. I have a nervous stomach so all the excitment left me with no appetite. Oh how I wish I could have a plate of that food now!
