Trip Report--12/2-12/8
Just got back on the 8th!!! I was a little hesitant on doing a trip report, because honestly it didn't turn out to be what I expected. :confused3 I think after planning it for a year, my expectations were too high to meet. I didn't want to do a report that had some negative comments, but there were lots of good moments to share and I think I'll feel better if I go over it all and share it. If you haven’t read my pre-trippie, you can find out a little about us there.
Ok, starting with day one:
Dec. 2- departure day and first day in Disney
Reilly received her enchanted call from Belle congratulating her on her trip to Disney at 8am. Then she woke up and I cooked her Minnie pancakes. After this I finished up and Ddad and Dmom came and followed us to the airport. We arrived at the airport very early and ate breakfast again, which was good, because I didn't have time to eat. Our flight was at 12 and we arrived at Orlando at about 2. We got on the magical express and arrived at pop to check in. Check in seemed a little busy, but not too bad. We finally got in, but our bags were not to be delivered until after our adrs. So we had to catch a bus to MGM to make our Fantasmic dinner package at HandV at 4:50. When we got to MGM I went straight to guest services bc I was told that I would have tickets for the late showing for Fantasmic as well. This was because they thought that I might not make the 6:30 show. I did make the 6:30 showing and had front seats on the right side! It was a great! HandV was not a favorite, but DH surprised me with a Cinderella slipper dessert so this made it more magical. I would also do this package again just for the seats to Fantasmic! After Fantasmic, we walked around to look at the Osborne lights. I couldn't believe how crowded it was! I was expecting very low crowds, since that was all I had heard. It was elbow to elbow. Oh well, I was thinking maybe the next day wouldn't be as bad. We went back to the room to see our bags waiting for us, which was great! Once the kids were asleep I layed out their gifts from Tinkerbell and got their clothes ready for Crystal Palace breakfast.
Next segment will be early day at MK and dinner at 1900 Park Fare!
