Are all the studio plus' preferred view studios? and what is the availability of standard view studios in July/August?

There are definitely some standard view studio plus units. I've stayed in one. MS will not guarantee anyone a studio plus. I've read (on this board) that parties of 5 are given preference, but I don't know if that is true or not.

Standard view studios (of any kind) are usually the first to be booked. No way to know if there are any available for this June/July without calling MS. There have been reports of people getting standard view rooms within a few months (or even weeks) of their arrival. Just a matter of luck, I guess. Hope yours is good!

What is a studio plus???

hi: it's a regular studio with a SMALL daybed (designed to be used by a small child). the daybed is smaller than the ones in the deluxes like the contemporary and polynesian. the mattress is about 5 foot long. my nephew took it off the daybed and put it on the floor when i had his family staying in a studio.

In Jan/Feb, I stayed in 2 different std view studios--they were both studio-plus. (I was travelling solo. )
The day bed is for short people/little kids--I checked it out for future trips--I'm 5' 2" and it was way too short for me!
