Ok so Rose sent me my floral BEO today, and honestly I was expecting it to be a lot more. During the planning session it seemed like I was constantly adding more and more things. I really thought it was going to be over $10,000. The floral BEO is at $5,237.88 right now and DF and I already cut almost $1,000 out. I'm still waiting on my other BEO from my WP, so depending on what that total is - we'll see what else we can cut.
Here is a quick breakdown of my floral beo:
Personal floral-
Bridal bouquet: $338
Bridesmaid bouquets: $142 each X 4 bridesmaids = $568
Groom and groomsmen bouts: $78.50
Flowers for Bride & Grooms mothers: $26 each
Ceremony-
3 frosted glass champagne buckets with roses for altar decor: ($115 ea) $345
(these will be brought to the reception)
Frame both sides of aisle w/moderate amt of rose petals: $350
Swag both sides of aisle w/white tulle: $150
Attach 12 ribbon bows to each pew: ($15 ea) $180
Add rose petals in the folds of swagging tulle: $125
Basket of loose rose petals for staged exit: $120
Reception-
9 triple cylinder sets w/water and a floating wite disc candle: ($24.75 ea) $222.75
Float 2 stems worth of orchids in each cylinder: ($30 ea) $270
Scatter rose petals on each table: ($10 ea) $80
50 silver solid charger plates: ($6 ea) $300
2 lilac solid linens for Roman table: ($17 ea) $34
12 lilac solid linens for round tables: ($15 ea) $180
11 white pixie dust overlay: ($37.50 ea) $412.50
50 white cotton chair covers w/lilac solid sashes tied in a know: ($8.50 ea) $425
Line base of each tier on cake with lilac ribbon: $15
DFTW cake & knife server set tied w/light orchid ribbon: $60
50 classic mouse ears hats: $497.50
Dessert Party-
4 9" cylinders with colored gel, 2 LED lights & silver Mickey confetti: ($17 ea) $68
Subtotal: $4,871.25
Tax:316.63
Move fee: $50
Final total: $5,237.88
If anyone has any specific questions, just let me know. I'll try to answer them for you.

I might be too late now but I like tiara number 1 too!
With regard to your floral BEO, are they charging you approx $10 just to place each of your pre-bought mickey areas for each guest??? Eek!

Actually Rose made a mistake on that part. She charged me $9.95 for each of the Mickey ears, but I already bought the ears. Thats actually one of the things I'm cutting! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for posting your floral costs! I agree with the other girls that it gives us an idea for how much to budget there (I don't have much of a budget for that either).
It sounds like it's going to be gorgeous and we're looking to have our reception in the LSS in June '09!

Yes, getting the mouse ears are the same price whether you get them through Disney floral or at the park. They are $9.95 each, but if you want to get them embroidered, Disney floral charges $8 per hat. That can really add up, unless you have the time to take them to MK and have them done there.

Hey Catherine - I just got my floral BEO this weekend. It is $7671.09 - I'll be slicing and dicing just like you!
All your choices sound very nice though!
Do you happen to have a pic of the cylinder sets with the orchids in them? They sound really nice and I'm considering replacing my orchid arrangements with something similar to what you have.

I truely understand! I felt like that too! our biggest thing ended up being a couple of expensive floral items- we could live without. We dropped one item off the pre-reception $10pp and our adjusted guest count! We have over estimated by a couple and now have our count- it makes a big difference when you think about everything that has a pp charge:cutie: .
Good Luck!:cutie:

Thanks Sandy :goodvibes. Thats a good point that you made - I didn't even think about that. Our beo is based on 50 people, but I know it is going to be more like 40 people. So 10 less guests makes a big difference. The beo just might cut itself without me even having to do anything.

Aww Jennifer - its so pretty. It goes on top of the cotton linens and basically its a sheer white tablecloth and has this shiny cystal like things on it..its sparkly and looks like there is pixie dust on it. They had it out on one of the table displays at Francks. Even though it is $37.50 each  -- I had to have it :rolleyes1

Hi Laura! Glad you popped into my PJ. Yes that picture is pretty much what I asked Rose to do for me, just without the stones on the bottom. Except, the orchids are turning out to be a little bit more expensive than I had anticpated. So now I'm working on trying to find a less expensive flower to float inside the cylinders. Its too bad though because the orchids are so pretty.
I'm having about 40 - 50 guests also. And you're right! Less guests = more $$ for the fun stuff! :thumbsup2
Didn't you start a PJ some time ago? I can't seem to find it.

Wow - I signed on and was really surprised to see my PJ at the top of the forum again.
Makes me realize that it has been a really long time since I've updated! So here we go:
Invitations:
These things took me forever to do! I’m so glad they are done and out of the way. I just ordered pocket folders from cardsandpockets.com and then made the inserts myself. Then added the ribbons and Mickey cut outs.
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03428.jpghttp://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03433.jpghttp://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03435.jpg
I also ordered stamps on zazzle for the rsvp cards:
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03419.jpg
We also bought our wedding bands. Here is my wedding band and e-ring together:
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03446.jpg
It’s a princess cut eternity band. I love it so much! DF wasn’t sold on the idea of it at first because it wasn’t in our budget, but then we asked a friend who was a jeweler if they could make one for us. Not only did they get one custom made for me, but it was half the cost. I was so happy!
This is DF’s wedding band:
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/ring.jpg
Here are the menu cards that I made. One will be placed at each table setting.
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03424.jpg
I dyed my crinoline - purple of course. I followed Caryn's instructions that she had on her PJ and it was actually pretty easy. Not as messy as I was expecting. The only annoying part was having to pull it out half way through to untwist it. It was really heavy. Here is the end result:
http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03456.jpghttp://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa86/kitcat1214/DSC03457.jpg
As you can see, it is spotty in some areas - I guess I didn't do such a great job with the untangling, but its ok - no one will see it anyway. I really like the color though.
Thats about it for now! Hopefully I will remember to update more often!

I wonder if it's possible to dye it dark red, or do you think it would just go pink?

These things took me forever to do! I’m so glad they are done and out of the way. I just ordered pocket folders from cardsandpockets.com and then made the inserts myself. Then added the ribbons and Mickey cut outs.

Catherine,
Where did you get the ribbon and mickey head materials from? Need to find some pretty papers etc. to investigate the possibility of making my own invites.....
Also, for the inserts on the right, do they come in a set, or e.g. if you want 4 different inserts do you need 4 seperate inserts for that one invitation to cut down? Hope that makes some sense, what I mean is, does 1 insert cover enough for 4 different cut down sections, or do you need 4 pieces to do it?
Unfortunately cardsandpockets charges over $60 for shipping to the UK, but I love the style of the pocket folders, does anyone know of anywhere I can get these in the UK / shipped cheaper from the US?

Thanks Lisa! You should totally dye your hot pink! It would look so cute.

Hi Meryll! I don't know - its kind of tricky. The dye that I bought was originally suppose to be a dark purple. But I believe because of the material the crinnie (polyester blend) is made of, it came out much lighter. I would say buy a cheap crinnie and test it out to see if it does come out red or pink. You might also have to use more dye than usual to get that dark red. Once you get the color you want, you can dye your real crinnie. Good luck! ;)

The mickey heads actually came out of a paper punch. I bought the ribbons and paper punch from Michaels. Its a craft store here in the US - I'm not sure if they have any locations in the UK.
The only thing I purchased at Cardsandpockets are the pocketfolds and the purple matte that the actual invites are mounted on. For the inserts I just bought a pack of 8.5 X 11 white cardstock from Michaels because it came out cheaper.
The inserts don't come in a set, so yes if you wanted 4 inserts you would have to print each one and cut them down to size to make that layering effect. You can probably set it on your computer to print 2 inserts per page and then cut them.
$60+ for shipping is crazy! What style and color pocketfold are you looking for?

It wouldn't actually be the end of the world if it turned out to be pink, I might just have a gamble!
I really love that pocket folder style you have chose, can't remember it's name now, is it Signature or something like that?
I can find them on UK sites, but it actually only works out about £20 more to buy the signature mats, pre-cut inserts, pocketfolds and envelopes, including shipping and an estimated possible 30% customs charge than it does to just order pocketfolds and envelopes alone from the UK. Or perhaps I can recruit a US buddy to get them for me and ship them over for less! ;)
Then I can find some ribbon, or gems or something to decorate them here in the UK..
I think I might have a gamble at doing them myself...
What sort of glue or whatever did you use to stick the signature mats and mickey heads on?

Love your dress - it is beautiful.
At you menu tasting did you have to make your decisions there and then or did you let them know later?
I would love to dye my crinnie but was worried that it might show through the dress?
My dress is ivory taffetta and I wanted my crinnie buttercup yellow, what do you think?

Meryll - yes I have the signature pocketfold. The glue that I used is by Scotch and its called Quick-dry Adhhesive. I pretty much used it on all of my projects.

Thanks for reading Linz! We made our decisions right at the planning session. Everything was so good it was an easy decision, but you can always decide later and get back to your planner on the menu.
My crinnie didn't show through my dress at all. The material on my wedding dress is so thick and heavy. If your dress has a lot of layers, you should be fine. If you want, you can get a cheap crinnie and test it out. Good luck!

Thanks so much! It was definitely not one of my favorite projects, but it saves a lot of $ to do it yourself ;)

Thanks again! Are you talking about the Mickey head underneath the inserts? If so - I used the Mickey head punch that I bought at Michaels. Just bought some pretty scrapbook paper and punched out a bunch of mickey heads, which is the one you see on the front of the pocketfold. Then, the hole that is left in the paper from the punch, I just cut around it and that's how I got the other mickey head on the inside of the pocketfold. I hope that wasn't too confusing. ;)

Here are my place cards:

And here are my table numbers. I wasn't crazy about the silver stand with the table number stuck on top of it. So I made my own and dressed it up a bit:

Hi girls! We are back from our wedding/honeymoon. We had a beautiful day and everything was perfect. I am going to get started on my TR soon, but I wanted to start off with my vendor reviews.
I was so happy with all of my vendors. Thanks to all of you previous brides, I would not have found them if it wasn't for your reviews. So thank you girls so much! I honestly didn't have one bad thing to say about any of them. They were all wonderful!
Randy Chapman = A+: Jesse and I both loved Randy. He is a great guy! I've seen a lot of his work on the Dis and I knew I wanted to book him right away. So the day that I got my date, he was the first person that I called. He was very easy to work with and just had a great personality. I don't have my pictures yet, but I can't wait to see them! :yay:
Patricia LeJeune = A+: Patrticia is awesome! She is so much fun to talk to, I felt like I knew her for years. My BMs and I all brought pictures of hairstyles that we wanted and she did a great job with everyone. We were all very happy with the end results. My hair and make up last all day! I had Patricia come do a trial 3 days before my wedding, she did my hair and make up on the wedding day, and she came back 2 days after the wedding for my MK shoot. She is so sweet. I would hire again in a heartbeat! :thumbsup2
Carolyn Allens = A+: We used CA's for our tux rentals, dress steaming, and dress cleaning. They were very nice and easy to work with. They also allowed Jesse to keep his tux for 2 extra days so we can use it for our MK shoot at no additional charge. They came to our room to do the tux fittings and after the wedding, they came back to pick up the tuxes. They made everything so much easier and stress free for us.
Rev. Kevin Knox = A+: He great with communication. Anytime I had a question about the ceremony, he would respond to my email that day. Sometimes even within the hour. Rev. Kevin performed a beautiful ceremony. He was very nice and easy going. We had him come to our rehearsal, which I'm glad we did because he told us everything we needed to do for the wedding day. No one was confused during the ceremony
Disney Floral = A: Rose is wonderful. She was very patient with all of my questions and was prompt in answering my emails. There were a couple of kinks during the reception, but I will going into that during my TR. Overall, Rose and her team are great!
Disney WP = A+: Meri was awesome. Everything ran smoothly and perfectly! She was always great in answering all of my questions and returning emails in a timely manner. She was also wonderful in giving me suggestions and alternative ideas.
DJ Steve = A+: We were assigned DJ Steve and I am so glad we were. He was great! A little slow in the email responses, but I'm sure it was because he was busy. During the reception, he did everything I asked him to and he chose some great music to play. I didn't give him a lot of direction in that area, but I think he was able to sense my style and we loved everything he played.
DPS (Amy) = A+: We had Amy for our MK shoot the Tuesday after our wedding and she was great. We did all the shots that I wanted plus more. She took her time with us and we did not feel rushed at all. I am very happy with my MK pictures!
I think thats everyone for now. If I missed any, I will come back and add it.

I'm glad you all like the teaser pictures. Now for the TR... Here we go!
Day 1 - October 15th (Wednesday)
I was up all night on Tuesday finishing up my last minute projects and packing. I didn't go to bed until 3am. Here is all of our stuff packed up ready to go. My mom managed to fold up my dress and fit it into the Disney bag.
http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03527.jpg
When the alarm went off at 5:30am, I rolled out of bed to get dressed. The cab was outside at 6am and Jesse and I headed to the airport.
Check in and security was a little bit slow, but the flight was pretty fast. We landed about 20 minutes ahead of schedule. We went over to baggage claim to pick up our suitcases. While we were waiting, I got a text message from one of my friends saying that his mom was going to Orlando today too and that she should be landing any minute. Just then, I look up and she was coming down the escalator. So I went over to say hi to her. Turns out she is going to a wedding in Kissimmee on Saturday.
After Jesse picked up our bags, we went to check in at the Magical Express counter.

http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03535.jpg
We were the last stop on the bus. I couldn't wait to get inside - I love Animal Kingdom Lodge. http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03536.jpg
Our room wasn't ready when we checked in so we went down to Mara to get some lunch.
http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03539.jpg
We both got the chicken nuggets platter. These were good, but I still miss the chicken strips.
We called the number to see if our room was ready - and it was!!! We are in room 2211.

Jesse and I went over to Downtown Disney for some shopping and dinner. I've been craving Earl of Sandwich, so thats where we ended up going. I had a Caprese sandwich and Jesse had the Original sandwich. It was really yummy!

Up next -- Day 2: my hair and make up trial and some pixie dust!

Day 2 - October 16th (Thursday)
I set the alarm for 9:30 but I was up at 8:30. I was so excited to be in Disney that I couldn't sleep anymore! I signed on to say Hi to the Disbrides on the OT and headed out to pick up some breakfast before Patricia LeJeune came to do my hair and makeup trial at 10:30.
We went down to Mara and I got some Mickey waffles and Jesse got the breakfast platter. The Mickey waffles were yummy as always.
Patricia got to my room shortly after 10:30 and got started right away. I showed her some of the pictures that I found and we ended up doing a mix of 2 different hairstyles.
http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03566.jpg
http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03564.jpg

http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03571.jpg
I was very happy with the outcome. The hair will be neater on the wedding day, but Patricia just wanted to show me what my hair would look like with bigger curls and smaller curls. So she did one side with big and the other with small. I'm going with the bigger curls. We are also going to put the veil on top of my hair instead of under it.
Patricia was very sweet. We had a great time talking while she was working on my hair and makeup. Jesse decided to go to the pool area and read his book. In the middle of our trial, my sister (MOH) Michele had just arrived at the hotel (she flew in this morning). She came into our room and the 3 of us were chatting away.
Jesse's cousin Phil (BM) just landed in Orlando and he was going to be staying in our room for the first night. After the trial Jesse, Michele, and I went to DTD for some lunch at Earl of Sandwich and shopping while we waited for Phil to arrive. Jesse got another Original sandwich and tomato soup, I got a chicken caesar salad, and Michele got the All American sandwich.
http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03572.jpg
Michele went to meet up with one of her friends from when she was in the college program. So Jesse and I headed back to AKL to wait for Phil to arrive. Phil rented a car so we went to the front desk to get him a parking permit. A nice CM name Julia was helping us and congratulated us on our upcoming wedding. After we got our parking permit, we asked Julia if we could combine our 2 AKL reservations.
*back story*
We had to book 2 separate ressie's at AKL because Jesse's sister got a coupon in the mail for a really great rate at AKL (standard rooms only) the week of our wedding. But the rate didn't start until the 19th (our wedding day). So we had to book the first 4 nights (10/15-10/20) at the wedding room block rate (Savannah view). Then Jesse's sister booked us the next 6 nights (10/20-10/26) with her coupon rate.
*end of back story*
We wanted to stay in the same room through the whole trip because its a pain to move all of our stuff around. We asked Julia if this would be possible. She said that since the 2nd half of our reservation was for a standard room, there would probably be a price difference if we wanted to stay in the Savannah view, but that she would ask her manager if she could upgrade us for free since it was our wedding. She came back a few minutes later and told us that her manager said they were all booked up and that if we wanted to keep the Savannah view room for the rest of the stay we would need to pay an extra $65 per night. Jesse said that would be fine and we would just pay because we liked our room and he didn't want to move. About 5 minutes after we got back into our room, the phone rang. It was Julia! She said that she asked her other manager and she got permission to upgrade us to stay in the Savannah view for free! I thanked her so many times! She told me she was happy to help and wished us all the best for our wedding. She was sooo sweet. We were really happy!
So that was our pixie dust for the day! Wow - that was really long LOL.
After I got off the phone with Julia, we went out to the balcony for some pictures.

http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp247/babeecee14/DSC03589.jpg
Phil called and said that he was in the lobby, so I went out to get him. We all waited in the room for Michele to come back from hanging out with her friend so we could all go to dinner. Michele got back around 8 and we went to Walmart to pick up some supplies. After that we went to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. It was pretty good. The guys enjoyed it.
