I had heard from my SIL, that I'm renting from, that there is a slight discount but now I'm hearing from other board members that there is no discount except for on Annual Passes???:confused3

DVC owners get $100 off the price of an annual pass. There are no other pass discounts offered to DVC members.

Interesting. Maybe she is also a triple A member or something because I know she gets a discount every time and she has never bought an annual pass. Thanks though!

Prior to the advent of the AP discount, DVC members did get a 10% discount on Parkhopper passes. Once the AP discount began and since MYW passes, there have been no other DVC admission discounts for the Theme Parks.

Hmm, when did the AP discount begin? She went last year and they still got the 10% discount. I just called and asked her. She was under the impression that they still got the discount.

The original DVC pass discount was on Length of Stay passes. They don't make those anymore.
Doc is correct, the only DVC discount on park admission since Magic Your Way passes came online, at least for two years, maybe three, has been on Annual Passes.

One thing to be aware of regarding the DVC discount on APs. The discount is only good for those people residing at the address of record of the DVC owner. I get the discount for my wife and kids, but not my mother-in-law. And they do check when you activate an AP voucher.

Not through DVC they didn't. Its been - three or four years - since there was a discount on passes - and then they were only on UPHs.
I use the links provided by the Mousesavers newsletter to get pass discounts.

Plus, if you are renting a DVC reservation and not a member, you are not entitled to any DVC perks and discounts anyway. Sorry.
