LOL, that reminds me of myself! I have been on a diet for the past couple of weeks and the only thing that's gotten smaller is my RING size! I mean, C'MON :lmao:!
Good job on keeping up with the routine, you're so dedicated!

This totally cracked me up, Maria. I didn't go to weight watchers this morning, partly because I just CANNOT stand any more "lack of progress on the scale" news right now (and partly because I had to go pick up a new contact prescription to try). When I was driving to work, I noticed my rings were reacting to gravity and spinning on my fingers so that the diamonds were underneath my fingers on the steering wheel. My immediate reaction on noticing was "it figures. It just totally figures! I may not fit in my wedding gown but I'll have thin fingers!" :lmao:

OMG Cam you look absolutley georgous!!!!!!!. You are such a beautiful lady inside and outside. I am sure Howard knows what a lucky man he is.
I read just above there you are unhappy that the scale isn't moving, well my friend you look amazing, you can see all your hard work has paid off you look great.

Thank you so much, Kim! You are really sweet! Hey, are you going to be at the POP meet in January?
BTW, when I start to beat myself up about my size, I look at this picture (before I gained nearly 20 pounds more before my 4th heart surgery):
http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b7ce10b3127ccec22afc2e9a3300000010O00Ibt3DRs2cMQ e3nw4/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D480/ry%3D320/
And I am now FORCING myself to compare it to this picture from our June cruise:

Of course, all of that was before I did THIS last Saturday:
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/keenercam/DSC02841.jpg <---- this was JUDY'S IDEA, btw! LOL! (Love you, honeibee!)
You can almost see Saturday's dark chocolate hot fudge sundae on my hips in this picture from the very next day. :lmao:

LOL! Make sure to tell Randy to take a whole bunch of ring pictures! Show those thin fingers off! :rotfl:
And by the way, I just saw the Before and After Pics: You look like a whole new woman! You should be so proud of yourself! You're such an inspiration! :)

Cam you look frickin' fabulous! Stop beating yourself up! You've got a husband swooning at your feet because of your beauty...what more could you ask for? I love your hair and makeup pictures. That lipstick is killer!! Only a few months until you get your hair and makeup done for the real thing! :yay:

Thank you so much, Maria, Patty, Stephanie, Liz & Vanessa. :grouphug: :lovestruc I really felt like a princess: Can you imagine when I have on my beautiful jewelry and gown?
One more detail is tended to -- we sent our contract & deposit to STVS yesterday! :yay: I really, really enjoyed talking to Stan on the phone and we didn't even consider anyone else. Why mess with a good thing that we felt so comfortable with, right? ;) We are using videography for the ceremony and reception. :) Randy is covering the dessert party the night before, but we aren't doing videography there. I know we'll have awesome pictures! :cloud9:

Cam,
I'm just a lurker who has been following and reading your PJ for quite some time now, but have never commented. I'm not getting married any time soon, heck I'm not even engaged yet! So I sometimes feel a bit weird about commenting, but I must say, you look positively gorgeous in the pictures from your hair and make-up trial. You are going to knock your husband flat on his butt when he sees you :faint:

Oh, you are so sweet! Thank you so much for coming out of lurkdom to post. You really made my day. As you can imagine, objective opinions are really, really appreciated and I know a lot of my dear friends who post in my PJ love me so much and are so supportive and always shower (very needy) me with praiase and encouragement. And I LOVE them dearly for it. But when someone who doesn't know me provides compliments they are also tremendously appreciated. Does that make sense?
Anyway, I really hope you'll stick around. I know that before I ever dreamed of making this dream wedding a reality, I LOVED reading everyone's PJs. I hope you'll continue to read and post.

You are very welcome. You seem like such a sweet and caring person from what I have read, you deserve it :goodvibes It makes complete sense! I will definitely be sticking around. I feel a bit more comfortable around here, since learning that I'm not the only not-planning-not-engaged girl around these parts. I too love reading all the PJs and TRs. Hopefully I'll have one of my own one day :)
Oh! Maybe I'll see you around during the marathon weekend. I'll be running the half :woohoo:

Oh! Maybe I'll see you around during the marathon weekend. I'll be running the half :woohoo:
I hope I see you there! I am running the half this year too! :cool1: It is an awesome event (except for that hill at mile 12, but I guess there has to be some challenge, right?). Anyway, I'll probably be in Minnie bride ears. LOL! As it gets closer, we'll have to figure out where to look for each other. It is a mob scene but not impossible to find people. I'd love to give you a hug to thank you for your support in person (it's better to do this at the start. I'll be a sweaty mess by the finish and I'm sure you'll be done at least an hour before me. LOL!)
Speaking of which, I am off for a 4-5 mile run with my buddy, Patty (pjstevens). And this weekend is the Philadelphia Distance Run (1/2 marathon), which Howard and a bunch of our WISH teammates are running, as well as my friend/partner, Jessica-- but I am not. :goodvibes So, for the first time, I am going to an EXPO for a race I am not running, I can eat anything I want at dinner and I'll be cheering on the course tomorrow instead of running it. WOOHOO!!! :yay: :cheer2:

There are hills in Florida?! And here I thought running at Disney would be a breeze because Florida is flatter then a piece of wood
That is so cute that you will be wearing your bride ears! I'll be in the waaaay back, wearing a WISH shirt, looking a bit like this when I realize what I signed up for :scared1: so I'll be pretty easy to spot :rotfl:
Anyways, I would love to meet up with you and congratulate you on your upcoming wedding. I'm hoping to meet a lot of WISHers at both the half and full (I'm volunteering at one of the water stops) I have never ran at Disney before, but I'm excited about it

Hi Cam! You've been so kind to comment in my somewhat anemic PJ, so I thought I'd pop by to say thank you, and see how your own planning is coming along. I haven't been able to read all of the pages yet, but I'm so impressed with what I've read. The beginning was so capitivating, and really struck a chord in me, because I was the same as you....all I ever wanted was someone to love me.
You are truely a beautiful person, and it really aggravated me when I read the comments your mom made about your weight, and your first wedding dress. Just for the record...I think you were beautiful then too! I can see your eyes sparkling when you were with your then-boyfriend...you can just see the love radiating from you!
I'm so happy that you found that one true love, and hope you have the wedding of your dreams.
I'm looking forward to catching up with all the pages to see how everything is shaping up.

Oh sure. Blame me for the Ghiradellis, which I can't spell. Weren't you the one that said "Oh I have a discount there!"??? :lmao:
OK everyone, as the taker of the "Cam Hair and Make-Up Trials" pictures I can tell you for a fact that those pictures DO NOT do her justice! OMG she looked so stunning! So gorgous! Man, did I feel like a total schlub Sunday morning with my "post-Saturday night spend at the Adventure's Club after getting up at 3:30am that morning to catch my early flight" face. :scared: She really did look so beautiful, not that she doesn't ALWAYS, but if you could have seen her radiance.... :cloud9:
I felt so privledged to have been there to share her very special moment. (That I know she was so worried about, really for nothing. Silly girl!) Plus, it was so much fun! Our room at PC was a mess of cases full of curlers, make-up, hair spray, brushes!
Thanks for letting me be there with you, Cam!!! :lovestruc

NOT YET!!!! BUT WE ARE!!!!! Just have to make some decisions, like resale vs perks being offered via disney. We have made the decision that we WILL be DVC owners (and hopefully before we 'pay' to stay at a value again)! Thanks for sharing all your info with me, it helped me and hubby to understand the resale side.
How are your 'babies' doing? Glad to have you home, I am sure.

Kel -- It is so nice to see you here, and I am definitely enjoying your PJ! Thank you for your kind words. Even now I worry that I was too candid in my earliest posts, but I wanted readers to understand why we are doing the big wedding thing for our VR. And I really, really wanted anyone reading to understand what an amazing love I found and how he is truly the answer to all my prayers and is definitely all my wishes come to life. Thank you again!
Judy -- You are such a darling! Thank you so much for being my moral support that day. And for practicing my walk down the aisle with me so I could try out my music! :) It was so much fun to share the experience with you and I am so grateful for your patience! Oh, yeah, I am also grateful that you talked me into that dark chocolate hot fudge chocolate chip mint sundae at Ghirardelli's! :lmao:
Patty -- I am so glad you were there to see the work in progress and the finished product. LOL!! You almost only ever see me in workout clothes with my hair pulled into a ponytail and with no makeup. So, I guess the hair and makeup trial just go to show that I can look like a real girl! ;) Thank you so much for being so supportive all day every day and for NOT getting sick of me talking your ear off about VR stuff during all those LONNNNNNNGGGGG miles we run. :cool1:
Okay, I am getting so excited and nervous about going to see my dress on Saturday!!! :faint:

We had cleared off the table in our room at POP and Ana set up there. I sat in a chair near the table and she worked there. Lily's makeup bag was the equivalent of a carry-on size. She opened up her makeup cases on one of the beds and it took less than half of the surface area of the bed. She did my makeup while Ana did my hair and they were both done at roughly the same time. I am not sure how you'd be timing it with more than one person. I hope that helps.
Oh, and thank you for the compliments on my trial. I was really pleased with how it went and I really do think that is the best I have ever looked in my life. LOL!!

Hiya Honey!
I don't get to stop by very often at the moment... Work is hectic beyond belief and I have gone back to University part time (as well as working full-time) so my online time has greatly reduced... I have just popped in and caught up with your PJ and your trial photos are sensational!! You look beautiful anyhow babe but WOW.... we have a saying here in England when someone is all made up looking lovely and thats 'You scrubbed up well'. You did that in bucketloads!!! I can't wait until January when we'll all be able to view the photos of you and your lovely family on such a special day!! You must all be getting so excited and Howard is just going to melt when he catches that first glimpse of your stunning self!!
Right.... time to go and pick my new car up... Squeeeeeee!!! Mine old car is 7 years old and has done that much mileage that its about to die, so I treated myself to a new one a few days ago and can't wait to go and pick 'her' up.
Take care honey, and much love to you and your family

Christina -- congratulations on the new wheels! :woohoo: I give you so much credit for doing the work and education thing at the same time. I watched Howard working his butt off for many years, juggling work and school and family commitments and my respect for him was infinite. I hope it is going well for you. Thank you for sharing my planning here. :goodvibes I LOVE hearing from everyone! :grouphug:

My gown preview was today and I was so excited to finally see MY gown and the custom designed and made bolero. Both were absolutely beautiful and shock of shocks, both fit. YAY!! The jacket is a little too big across the shoulders and the sleeves are too long (they were supposed to be 3/4 length but they go to my fingertips.) The bodice on the gown is a bit too big and the underskirts have to be shortened just a bit. But it is so pretty! :cloud9:

Okay, I held good to my threat. When I saw Jeff this morning and after shaking hands good morning as we always do, I asked if I could give him a hug and he said "sure" with a huge smile and then asked what he'd done to deserve it. He was very happy to hear that our hard work has paid off. He complimented me on my discipline, too, which is always nice. :goodvibes

 I looked at my 6 page single spaced master to-do list last night and was astonished to see how much has been accomplished but also how many more things are left to do. EEK!!
Howard and I decided on table numbers last night. We decided a while ago to choose non-sequential numbers that mean something to us. We thought it would be fun for people to have to guess what the numbers mean. We finally decided on:
143 -- our code for each other to say "I LOVE YOU" (for the sweetheart table)
10 -- we met in October
12 -- we married in December
82 -- the year we met
84 -- the year we married
I went and bought silver shimmer cardstock and will cut the numbers out on the cricut and glue them to pink shimmer card stock for the table numbers. I really wanted to use pink and thought the silver numbers would look pretty with the silver star number holders. I'll also embellish the numbers a bit with some pretty pink crystals I bought.
We are also trying to figure out what to do about the cake table in the Whitehall Room. I am not crazy about those birds on the mirror over that marble table that the cake will sit on. So, Meri (what a darling!) came up with an alternate floorplan to put the cake table behind the sweetheart table but that means making the dance floor smaller, and we aren't willing to do that. Poor Howard! He said "if making the dance floor smaller means I need to learn more turning steps for our dance, let's come up with a different option". LOL!!!

So glad your dress fits Cam!! I want to see pics! PM them to me please!
I just read is someone else's PJ about the birds mural in Whitehall Room. Her wedding planner offered her something to cover it up for $200. ummm....Tabatha's PJ maybe? Anyway, if it's really hideous and you don't like it, ask your WP about covering it up. :thumbsup2

$200?????? OUCH!! EEK!!!!! Um, I am thinking Howard and I had better start practicing those turns. LOL!

Thank you! We have used "143" for love-speak since we were dating, so it is fun to have that for the sweetheart table. Sometimes, if I am following Howard's car driving somewhere or he is behind me, driving, he'll make eye contact with me in the rear-view mirror and put up first, 1 finger, then 4, then 3. Judy, think we could just sneak in there the night before and throw some of that pretty yellow chiffon up over the mural? :rotfl2: Oh, that's right. The yellow won't work. Pink chiffon? ;)

I got the call today that my gown & bolero are ordered! OMG! I am so excited! On the one hand, October seems SO FAR AWAY!! On the other hand, and considering that I ordered the gown 1.5-2 sizes smaller than I would need today, October seems all too soon! ACKKKKK!!! :faint: I am HIGHLY MOTIVATED to continue getting myself out of bed every morning at 5:30 to get to the gym (thank you, honey, for driving the carpool so that I can still get to work at a reasonable time! :lovestruc )
Cam, My dear sweet Cam. Please read you post from back on the day you ordered your dress. " I ordered the gown 1.5 - 2 sizes smaller than I need today." WOW CAM, That is fantastic you have not only met but also exceeded your goal. :cheer2: :cheer2: :thumbsup2 :cool1:  :grouphug:
My gown preview was today and I was so excited to finally see MY gown and the custom designed and made bolero. Both were absolutely beautiful and shock of shocks, both fit. YAY!! The jacket is a little too big across the shoulders and the sleeves are too long (they were supposed to be 3/4 length but they go to my fingertips.) The bodice on the gown is a bit too big and the underskirts have to be shortened just a bit. But it is so pretty! :cloud9:
You are such an inspiration to all of us who are working toward a goal. Either weight, personnal growth or being healthy. Thank you
I am enjoying your PJ, you have such a talent for writing that I feel like I am right there with you as you are experiencing each step of this wonderful journey. I am only up to page 52, but I am working everyday at lunch to catch up. :) :moped:

First off, congratulations on your dress fitting. You must be so proud of yourself, I know I am (and I'm a complete stranger :goodvibes ) Secondly, your idea for the table numbers is the cutest and the most original idea I have ever heard. I bet your guests will love it.

I'm glad that Ann included that old posting of yours, to help you see how far you have come. I have only chimed in a couple of times on your PJ, but I have followed your PJ the whole way (& Christina's and Giancarlo's). A few pages back you were saying how frustrated you were that the scale hadn't budged, even though you were doing over 100 situps and all kinds of other exercises (forgot details). I wanted to post then, to remind you that with all of the exercises that you were doing, you were building muscle. I'm sure your trainer MUST have told you that muscle weighs 3 times more than fat. So even though you "think" the scale hadn't budged, in actuality, you had been losing 3 times the fat to have been able to maintain that number on the scale.
Also, when we "build" muscle, especially for women, the muscle is going from a "loose" atrophied state, to a taught, strong state. Think of a rubberband. Loose, it sort of flares out, taught and strong it becomes long and lean. And that's how it works in a woman's body (unless steroids are involved but we don't need to go there:lmao: ) Another reason for your slimmer build, regardless of the number on the scale.
Does all this make sense? That explains why you were so thin and that the wedding dress that you ordered 1.5/2 sizes too small...... turned out to be too big!
We should all have that kind of success. Really, something to be proud of.
Please PM me your pictures, I would love to see. Even though we are all strangers on these boards. There are some people who I feel "friendly" with, and you are one of them!

Patty (pjstevens) has very generously offered to help me dye my crinoline. :flower3: Some of you may remember I really, REALLY wanted pink shoes and a pink crinoline. Well, I ultimately decided to wear pink shoes for our dessert party (the night before the VR) and silver under my gown (great excuse to have 2 fabulous purses, too! :lovestruc ).
And I decided that my gown had enough crinolines built into it and I shouldn't wear the one I'd purchased. So, no pink crinnie. :sad1: Well, when I tried on the gown Saturday, we all decided that it DEFINITELY looks so much prettier with the crinoline under it. princess: SOOOOOO, I am wearing a crinoline. Then, I started wistfully talking about dying it and my very courageous friend volunteered to help me!!   :worship: :woohoo:
Now, I have to go find the instructions and figure out how the heck to do it AND how much dye I need.

LOL!!!
Thats so funny Cam! I hated that bird picture.. I really wanted to pay the extra money to get it covered, but I wanted the MK shoot more. In the end it wasn't to bad. I was way dissapointed in our cake cutting pictures though.. Mickeys big top hat was basically in my face because we were facing a wall where no one could see! Def. try and get it moved!
It kinda looks like a movie zoomed in..

Cam,
We danced on the patio at Whitehall.
Have you considered that?
It was so much more room that inside, plus the outside view is soo much prettier! We had such a clear view of the castle, and the people on the monorails were constantly waving at us!
And the DJ was at the door, so he could be inside and out.
We also still had the dance floor inside (incase it rained)
Just a thought...

First of all, on page TWELVE of my 13 page to-do list (in all fairness, it's spread over 13 pages for organizational purposes, but it's really closer to 9 pages single-spaced and I'd guestimate that at least half of the items are already checked off) under "GUESTBOOK TABLE" is the following:
Print & frame our pix (weekend we met, engagement, wedding, births)
Secondly, when you said "piece of velvet" all I could think of is OMG! We'll be like those Elvis paintings on black velvet. LOL!! Sorry! Couldn't help myself!
I liked the idea of little silver frames and pink ribbons, though. :cloud9:

Cam,
I must know...did Disney say they could make your Lenox topper stay on a cake?
I am tempted to get the same one if the answer is yes, I like the way the chocolate castles look but I don't think it would survive the trip home or the heat here in Cali.

Yes. We sent them the measurements, weight & a tracing of the "footprint" of the castle. They said it will be no problem, though it sounds as if they will build support into the cake to hold the weight of it. We also had Meri include on the BEO the measurements and weight. Oh, and we are doing a 2 tier cake and the top layer will be made large enough for the castle, even if it is bigger than the size we'd normally have for the top tier. Since we are serving one piece of each layer to every guest, it worked out fine that way. I hope that helps!
BTW, I hope you can find the castle. Disney merchandising told me I had one of the last 2 available at the warehouse and then my friend and I saw one more at the outlet and they said it was the last one and she was lucky to get it. So, if you can't find it elsewhere, check Disney merchandising and lenox. Good luck! :goodvibes

Wow! Quick response! I checked Lenox and it's not on the website. Only saw it on eBay. Price ranges $150 to $250. I'm sorely tempted. I was going to buy the Jim Shore Cinderella Castle $110 and the Chocolate topper $100, so I may actually end up saving money. Will have to discuss with WP at PS: I wouldn't want to order more cake than I need, since that could add up to as much as buying the JS & Chocolate Castle.

We decided that the Lenox castle is something we could display forever in our home (it is on our shelves in our family room now, surrounded by Disney memorabilia and books & pix) so that made it a better choice for us than the chocolate castle.
We aren't doing dessert at our reception, so we thought 2 slices of cake -- very different flavors-- was a way to have the cake we want with no leftovers and no added expense for dessert that wouldn't be eaten or which would cause waste of the wedding cake. I am glad to answer any other questions you have. :goodvibes

Our cocktail hour was outside as well. Most of the tables they had set up went down the porch when it was over. We had highboys and cocktail tables all set up outside. enough for 45 people.
They moved all the guests inside, we were announced in, and then we ate dinner.
While we were inside, the re-arranged the outside so we could go back out. i think it worked out better than staying inside, especially since the reason we chose Whitehall was the patio! And there was just so much more room being able to go back and forth! Good Luck!

Howard and I worked on more projects last night. I was able to put little pink checkmarks next to about 7 more line items on my comprehensive to-do list and I think I'll get a LOT more done this weekend because Howard will be away and Andrew has marching band for about 13 hours Saturday and about 3 on Sunday. I am really looking forward to packing up a lot of what is done and just getting those items and their components out of the "mix". I am really, really hoping to make significant headway on the invitations this weekend, too, maybe even getting all of the components done and then just having to assemble them. :yay:

Thank you, Laura! I told Howard this morning (when he was making me feel cherished and precious even though I was sweaty and stinky after a run) that no one would ever believe that he treats me so well every single day of our lives together. That his posts here are the very same things he says to me in person every day, and not just a "show" for people reading here. He said that's okay as long as I know he means every word. I know I am so blessed!
Kelly -- thank you! I am not very craft-y, so seeing some of my ideas coming together has been such a rewarding part of this process. It makes me feel really good to be able to do nice things for our guests and for them to know it wasn't just a matter of spending money, but also thinking about them as I work on projects. Fortunately, so far I haven't had to scrap anything as a failure. Even if stuff doesn't look professional, at least people will know these projects were made with love.

We are flying as well, so I am packing all the projects here and putting them all in one huge suitcase. If there is too much, I'll ship it to my resort a couple days before. The other thing I did is to get an Owners' Locker (we are DVC members, so it will come in handy anyway), and I took a lot of stuff that was done early down in May and put it in the locker, and did the same during my September trip.
ETA: we are shopping for a lot of the food items, like water bottles, granola bars & mickey pretzels once we get to Orlando so that we don't have to transport that stuff.

This is just an idea.... but I read that you may pack a bunch of your wedding stuff in a really large suitcase. Here is my 2 cents for you shipping everything down there ahead of time. Can you imagine how nervous/excited, but nervous you will be your flight down, trying to manage your very fluffy wedding gown and your other bags, without having to also constantly worry about your "important wedding stuff" in a checked-in piece of luggage! Have you ever seen how airline employees handle the luggage?:scared:
Just my 2 cents. If you have an option to ship, or a friend who can get more stuff into your "vault" I would recommend that. You are going to want to enjoy every moment with Howard with this FTVR, starting with the flight down. My advice, shoot for "no worries."

I agree that I have to eliminate all stress possible. I am shipping my gown, Jenn's dress & my crinoline early to Carolyn Allen's, so I am hoping that takes all those huge worries off my mind. Since 5 of us are flying together, I am pretty confident we will be able to spare one of the large suitcases for lots of the completed projects, but I also know Beach Club is fabulous about receiving packages for guests and taking good care of them. I guess as it gets closer, we will see what is left to take down. I think all the "large" stuff is done, project-wise, except for the 2 hospitality baskets for the restrooms at the reception. Everything else that is left is paper (programs, table-numbers, etc) and CDs of music. I'm pleased that we are in pretty good shape.

Thanks - I am planning on dying it red - maybe I should buy a few bottles and return the extra if I don't use them. Maybe I would start out with two bottles in the wash and see how it looks. I guess I could also dye it again if it is too light. Does it dry lighter or darker then the color when it is just dyed (I would think lighter).

I got another MAJOR project done last night (or almost done). I wanted little table tents on the tables at the dessert party with quotes from WISHES, but it took me some time to figure out how to configure them in Word. Now, one side has our theme/quote and the other side has our favorite lines from WISHES and a quote I love from Walt. Howard is going to look for little clippie holders so that if it is windy they won't blow away and once he does that, I'll print these on green shimmer cardstock to match the ribbons on the centerpieces.

I am so relieved that we got lots done this weekend.
Howard emailed with Meri on Friday and we decided to get little votive card holders to hold the "table tents" so that even if it is breezy, they won't blow away, but that added several items to my to-do list, including sourcing and buying those votive holders and (on Meri's suggestion), battery operated votives. So, the votive holders are ordered (found them on ebay) and we got the fake votives on Saturday at Michael's with some awesome coupon savings.
Friday night, Howard helped me with the table numbers. I cut the numbers out of silver cardstock on the cricut and then Howard glued them to shimmer pink cardstock for me. I just have to embellish them and they will be done. :yay:
We also found a 3-wick candle for our memorial table, with each of the wicks representing my parents and Howard's stepDad (who was really his Dad, as far as I'm concerned).
We also started working on music for the ceremony. I think Howard's Mom will enter to "Baby Mine" and Jenn will come down the aisle to Pachabel's Canon in D, which was the song Howard and I used for our wedding. I may have Howard look at the words to Baby Mine and Candle on the Water to confirm that he prefers the first (it will be an instrumental anyway, but everyone thinks of the words when they hear the music, right?). I also started creating a playlist of possible songs for Howard to dance to with his Mom at the reception. I've always thought Louie Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" is perfect, but Howard will choose.
Yesterday, Howard and I met Linda (lpizzuro123) and her DF for an early dinner and that was definitely a high point of the weekend. What a darling she is and she has the most gorgeous huge blue eyes. I was so excited to see pix from her gown fitting. I don't know if I'd be as calm as she is 3 weeks before my wedding. I am sure I'll be all :hyper: LOL!

Music is such a tough thing, isn't it, Cam!
I played Candle on the Water for Rob as an option for our first dance. He wasn't as big a Pete's Dragon fan as me, so that didn't make the cut. :( I LOVED that song growing up, though.
And you know what I think about What a Wonderful World (as that's what Rob and his mom danced to). :D

I think I have also solved my dessert party dress dilemma. The problem I was having is that I am determined to wear those pink shoes and carry that gorgeous pink bag. So, to find a dress that would go with both was a problem, but I thought I’d solved it when I found a pink floral dress. THEN, my friend's Mom, who is an amazing jewelry designer said she'd make my jewelry for me, so I am having her make an ensemble featuring Swarovski crystal stars. And I thought the stars would clash with the pink floral dress. Sooooo, I went hunting something on ebay and found this, which is ivory with a mesh overlay with silver and gold thread. I figure I will use a wide pink ribbon around the waist to match the shoes and bag, and I’ll find a silver bolero to complete the ensemble.

Thanks, Tammy! I am so glad you like the dress and that you like my slightly "blinged" table numbers.
Howard came up with the idea that we should put an explanation on the back of each table number of the symbolism of the number. So, I affixed small clear labels with pretty pink script explaining the significance of the numbers, and now the numbers are ready to be packed for travel.
My goal for tonight is to get the table tents done. They are already formatted to be little tents, so I've decided to insert a pink shimmer card in the fold so that it hangs out of the bottom. This will serve the purpose of adding some of the pink and also to add some additional height at the bottom to fit into the votive holder without covering the text. I think they'll be really pretty. I can't wait to see the finished product. I LOVE my pink shimmer paper :lovestruc (it is pink on both sides and it is made in Italy -- a lot of the pretty cardstock has been white on the back, which limits its use in certain applications).

Thank you so much for your support and kind words, Linda, Stacie & Laurie!
I haven't gotten as much done the last few days as I'd wished because of the Marine Corps Marathon and a sick furbaby.
Yesterday I left work early to take Andrew to the orthodontist and Cali to the vet. I must admit that I fell even more deeply in love with my sweet husband (how is that even possible?). I was in the vet's examining room and they took blood from Cali's paw and then I was cuddling her, talking baby nonsense and said "Mommy's going to tell Daddy what a good girl you were" and in walks Howard still in his suit and tie and dress shoes (notwithstanding that his feet were a bloody mess from the marathon) and all gorgeous. :lovestruc He said he came to see how the "furball" was doing and then he took her from me and held her a bit until the vet came back in. He stayed with me and Cali until we were done there, when he could have gone home and given his feet some relief. What a sweetheart he was. He acts all tough with Cali and like he's not as crazy about her as Jenn and I are, and then he does something like that. :faint:

What's wrong with Miss Calli Lou Lou Belle?
She was showing the same symptoms as when she had Lyme's disease last November, limping on alternate legs, lethargic. Poor thing. They said the disease can go dormant and then come back, so I wanted to catch it early. The blood tests were negative but she had a slight fever and those other symptoms so we started the antibiotics and pain medicine. The vet said it can't hurt her and it may be that we caught it so early this time that it wasn't showing on the blood test yet. I am hoping she will be much better by tonight. :dog:

This is exactly what my dog went through. From my experience, the Lyme disease never goes away. The antibiotics go after it, and it becomes dormant for awhile, but it always returns. It's good that you are keeping up with it, my dog lived with it for years, but truthfully, I think it contributed to her early demise, just b/c it seemed to take a repeated toll on her body. (I didn't say that to be morbid, just an FYI).
I also recommend glucosamine for her joints. The Lyme disease really goes after the joints, and even when we weren't on antibiotic treatment, the glucosamine made it much more comfortable for her to move and play.pluto:

2BoysMom -- Thank you for the information! My sweet furbaby literally seemed all better within 2 days and hasn't needed pain medication at all. Thank God. She is on antibiotics for 30 days but that is a small detail to tend to for keeping her healthy.
Lisa-- I just don't know why I am ever surprised. :lovestruc LOL!
Wow! I can't believe how long it's been again since I was here last. Life has been so busy and is about to get crazier with some major projects and deadlines. So, this weekend was a major one for me to get stuff done. My goal is to have all "paper" done or as far along as possible (for the programs, welcome letters and menus) by this weekend. By last night, I was able to put little pink check marks next to MANY items on my to-do list! :yay:
1. I finished the hospitality baskets for the restrooms at the reception
2. I've mickey-ized my garter
3. I added pink crystal mickeys to the veil on the bride minnie ears from Tokyo Disneyland (yeah, ebay!).
4. And, most importantly, the invitations are well underway and the prototype is everything I dreamed it would be. I am just waiting for an additional order from cardsandpockets (I hadn't thought enough about how many inserts we'd need and how tall). Today, I picked up wallet-sized prints of our original wedding picture (taken on a regular camera by a friend, so we had to scan it -- the quality is terrible, but that is part of the nostalgia of it). I am just so excited about how pretty the colors are coming together.
I am hoping to get the outside envelopes addressed tonight, as well as do the envelopes for the dessert party invites.
Oh, and tomorrow is my first gown fitting with the seamstress! I am really really excited, but I am also so bloated. UGH! Will be glad to get this appointment behind me since I've been so nervous about it and I am always so embaressed to be undressed in front of anyone. LOL! Having good friends along will make it much more bearable (as will dinner afterwards at Bahama Breeze - ;) ).

I hadn't realized how long it's been since I updated here. Things seem to be moving in fast-forward now. The great news is that so many projects are completely done and ready to be packed. Only a couple more small non-"paper" items to be done, but then it's things like programs, welcome letters, menus, donation announcements, welcome bag tags with reservation information and writing our order of service and vows.
I got a lot accomplished last weekend (thanks to Patty for everything she helped me with! ), including:
1. Our original cake knife has a stainless steel blade that is pretty beat up from 24 years of sporadic use and the silver plating is mostly gone from the handle. But, for sentimental reasons, I wanted to use it for our VR. So, we took it to Things Remembered and added "& 1-12-09" next to the original wedding date. Then, I took it home and used 2 sided tape and pink satin ribbon to completely wrap the handle. Patty tied pretty bows for the knife and for a lenox porcelain handled cake server that my friend/partner gave me for my birthday (it has pink roses on it -- very sweet and pretty!)
2. I received my adorable Tokyo Disney Minnie bride ears and added pink crystal mickey heads to the veil
3. I added a pink crystal mickey head to my garter
4. The guest hospitality baskets for the men's and ladies' rooms at the reception are decorated & filled & packaged for travel
5. Major components of the cardsand pockets invites are done. I am just waiting for more inserts and I can get those finished -- my goal was to mail them by this Saturday. I may have to settle for Monday or Tuesday, but everyone knows they are coming.
I'll be back later to post pics of all the completed projects.
Oh, and one last thing -- the music is all decided, except for our exit and I think I'd like to use "When You Wish Upon a Star" since I am not using that for my entrance. Just have to run it by Howard, but with his decisions made now on the music for seating his Mom and the music for him to walk in with our friend/Officate and Best Man/DS15, we are almost ready to print the programs. :yay:
ETA: Most importantly, perhaps, I had my first gown fitting, which went really, really well. :goodvibes I love my gown more than ever -- it is gorgeous! princess:

Thank you so much, Jennifer. Coming from someone who had an absolutely GORGEOUS wedding, your praise is very dear to me. I love that all the projects I wanted to do for our guests are now done. I have only to wrap thank you gifts and write those notes and I'll feel like I can just focus on writing our ceremony. Thank you for the compliments on our invitations. I really do feel like relationships have personalities and Howard's and mine has always been one of sweetness and of cherishing each other and I wanted our invitations to reflect that. We are also very down to earth and laid-back so I wanted the invitation not to be stuffy or formal. I think our guests, who know and love us to the point of spoiling us rotten, will think the invitations are exactly what they'd expect from us. :cloud9:
I esp. love the basket.
trudy <><
Thank you, Trudy! I got the idea of doing baskets from another DISBride and then ran with it, brainstorming ideas for what to put in them, and getting advice here. I hope SOMETHING in them actually gets used. If nothing else, our guests will get the message that we wanted to tend to their needs and wanted them to be comfortable and happy.
You made them yourself? Wow, you should go into business, they look amazing! I will not be attempting to make my own stuff as I'm a little creatively challenged
Caroline -- I am NOT creative or talented at all. What you are seeing is the result of many failed ideas and efforts, when each piece finally came together the way I hoped. The ideas for using the pocket portfolio and the sources for the components and the swarovski crystals came from other DISBrides who were very generous with their advice and information. It has been so much fun to gather in all of those ideas and to cull from them the ones that fit our theme and our intentions.
I realize the pix of the invitations aren't clear, so I wanted to share the text. First of all, our theme is "All of Our Wishes Have Come True" and we have used stars and intertwining hearts as our "symbols", I guess you'd call them.
The wording on the main invitation part is:
In a magical place,
where wishes are granted and dreams come true,
We, Cam & Howard,
will renew the vows we made to each other

Hi, I just wanted to give everyone an update. Our home computer decided on Monday morning that it wanted to give up the ghost. So, our home system is out of commission. We have a IT company that Cam uses for work trying to recover files from our hard drive. It is going slow as you might expect. Cam and I are a bit freaked out about all of the VR files, invites, photos, financial information, etc. that are on the computer.
This is certainly causing some issues with the timing of finishing things up for the VR. I am sure Cam will come back on soon with an update. In the mean time, we'll continue with the regularly scheduled program.:happytv:

Thanks, everyone! Right now, I am thanking God that all but 3 of the invitations had already gone out, since I can't print the envelopes I'd be in trouble. I am SOOOO glad this didn't happen after I'd created all the components and before I'd printed all of them.
Right now, I am coping with the "loss" of the programs, menus, welcome letters, donation announcements, and RSVP matrices for all of our events that weekend. Oh, and all the ipod playlists, for the rehearsal, dessert party and my personal playlist for when I am getting ready, and the honeymoon playlist. UGH! I am freaking myself out again. ;)
We could use all the prayers and pixie dust anyone is willing to share that my IT firm friends can recover files and make them accessible. Losing a week of progress at this point is horrible, but not devastating. I really do thank God that the invitations were already done.

Thank you, everyone, for all the good wishes. My firm's outside IT tech firm took the hard drive and worked on it for 8 days. They put everything they recovered on a USB drive and I got that yesterday. Last night, as I browsed the files, I found many (though not all) of the vow renewal documents (for example, the outside of the program is there but the inside pages file was not recovered; I have the main file with the invite envelopes but not the second one that had the addresses of invites still to be sent  ). Most importantly, they recovered all of the financial data/Quicken files. I praise God, truly, and have been profusely thanking the IT tech and the company owners.

Okay, I am officially in moments-of-panic mode. I feel like there are all sorts of things I could be doing at home to get more things off my to-do list, and it drives me nuts to NOT be doing everything. ;)
I didn't get a lot done last night, but the welcome folders are all labelled. I spent more time going through the recovery USB drive to come to the conclusion that some of the files are, in fact, lost -- no Christmas card labels from last year (I have the file from 2006 and can at least start with that so that I don't have to type over 150 to type from scratch. UGH!) and no program or menu or draft welcome letter. It could have been so much worse, though. I shudder to think of what it would have been like to have the invitation components all created and not printed before the crash.
All of the playlists and music excerpts are gone, but as long as I protect my main ipod, I can at least re-load my library and pull those playlists together again -- a huge time investment but worthwhile.
I started our blurb book Wednesday and it is taking me a lot longer than I'd expected. I hope to finish it this weekend, though. I think it will end up being one of my favorite details at the pre-reception/reception.
Oh, and one last thing. Talk about serendipity! I had told the bridal salon and David's that I wanted to ship my gown and Jenn's gown on December 18. It hit me yesterday that I am going to Orlando on the 19th. If Carolyn Allen's is willing to store the gown for 3 weeks, I'd be more than willing to take the gowns to Orlando and NOT have the hassle of shipping them. How cool is that?!?!?!?!? We were only going to have one carry-on with our clothes for 2 days and mini-toiletries. So, Howard can carry that on and I will take the gowns, and I think we'll be fine. Then again, I may chicken out and wait to ship them. I am majorly vaccilating on this issue.

I just noticed the link to this journal in your signature this (very EARLY) morning, Cam. I'm only on page 8 so far and I'm glued to your report. What a lovely story -- and how wonderful to hear someone speak so lovingly about their husband. I am so often surprised and saddened by the husband-bashing that goes on around me -- How refreshing to hear someone voice the same sentiment I have for my husband: He's is truly a perfect-for-me God-sent miracle. And I suspect there are also many of us who had weddings that were someone else's dream (in my case, my MIL's) rather than our own. I remember saying, "I just want this to be over." It seemed there was so little joy and such great expense -- the only bright spot was the dapper young man in the tuxedo waiting for me at the end of the aisle.
I have to go do a race this weekend (got to pack, clean the car, pick my friends up at the airport, go to the race venue, etc.) but as soon as I get back, I'm picking up where I left off. What a lovely, lovely, lovely tribute to the two of you. I can't wait to see the photos of your entire wish come true event! You certainly deserve it! :goodvibes

Wendy, sweetie, I am sitting here in tears. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and to post your kind words. I am so glad you have your very own miracle in your life, and that you understand how precious a gift we both have. You are such a kind person (and one of my personal heroes, dear WISH friend), so I really, really treasure your words here.
I remember thinking on my wedding day and in the very stressful weeks leading up to it that all that mattered at the end of the (wedding) day was that I'd be married to Howard. I knew I could put up with anything as long as I knew that what God had brought together, no one could tear asunder. Through the years, Howard has been not just my partner and friend and the most amazing Dad to our children, but also my anchor and my haven. He always brought out the best in me and saw good in me that I didn't know existed. And he's always made me feel so precious. Until a person has it in their life, one has no idea of the miracle of being truly treasured and appreciated. I am so blessed. :cloud9:
I should probably say SOMETHING about planning here. ;) Thanks to Andrew and Howard, I was able to finish up the placecard holders/favors last night. All that is left to be done with them is to pack them very carefully and gently so that they don't get smashed or unembellished, and then once we are in Orlando, I'll tie the bows before delivering them to Francks'. Oh, and now that our guestlist is finally finalized (was waiting to hear about my brother's family), I can finalize the table diagrams and do the placecards. :yay: AND, once my brother books his room, I can do the tags for all of the welcome bags. That will be another huge relief.
Today I am working on our blurb book and it has been so much fun to go through photo albums from when were dating and the pix that friends took of our wedding.
Another huge project we haven't started yet is gathering the pix to send to Stan for the video, and we have to finalize our music choices, though I think we are almost completely decided on everything.
WHEW!!! It only seems overwhelming when I think of everything at once. LOL!

I cant believe you are this close- How are you feeling?????
Hi, Christina! I've missed you! I can't believe it is so close, either. We've been dreaming of this forever and planning for over a year and I am so excited to see how it all comes together. I have moments of intense panic when I think of everything left to be done, but at other times I am pretty confident we'll accomplish everything in time. I am so glad that we got all of our guest stuff done ahead of time. What is left is mostly "paper" (welcome letter, guest bag tags, menus, donation announcements & programs) and calls to confirm stuff like ADRs, car rental, transportation to the airport for our guests from the reception, etc. When I think of it like that, it seems manageable. :)
Yesterday, I worked on the blurb book until I finally gave up and switched to shutterfly. I felt like there was more flexibility for layouts and text boxes. I am sure that it will be wonderful. :goodvibes

Tammy -- I am really glad to hear that. They have a lot of the same options now as Blurb and I was able to get one with a padded photo cover with printing on the spine. I think if we love it, we'll do a follow-up one later with pix from our VR events.

Stacie -- Thank you for missing me! You are such a doll! :cutie: I'm glad you like the invites. They are even prettier in person. I thought they came out really sweet. I did 9.15 miles on Saturday and will do 10 this coming weekend, and then taper. I doubt I'll make time in WDW next weekend (our anniversary celebration) to run at all, so I'll call it a taper week and run at the gym Monday morning. Considering I did over 9 this past Saturday and feel really great today, I am optimistic that I won't be in pain and my feet won't hurt for the heels I am wearing Sunday night (kitten height) or Monday for the VR (about 3" I think).

It sounds like you have really come along in your training! Are you doing a 4/1 run/walk? I am only walking and then running 1-2 min ate each mile marker. That's about it. My SIL and I are planning to do the Princess Half if it all works out so I'm hoping to maybe run a little more then. My feet give me aweful trouble though. I went the chiro yesterday and I was cracking and popping everywhere! I think everything was tight. My neck and back... I felt so much better after. I just think how I would have felt after those 10 miles if I had been running instead of walking! lol! :scared1:
I'm sure w/ all your training you will be fine. I'm glad to hear you feel so well after your 9 miles! I have a pull back week this week myself. 8 miles, then I'm up to 12, then down to 8, then 5 (which I'll do in Mexico while visiting my brother) then it's time for the Half! So close!
I must say, I'm really nervous about my time. I wanted to really be around a 14-15 min pace, but my Long mileage days have been close to 15:20/15:30. I really want to have time to snap a few pics w/ some of the characters on the course!
I hope you guys have a great trip!
Ok...so this is is supposed to be a VR planning...so back on subject! :goodvibes Keep us updated and we'd love to see more pics!
Take care!

Stacie - I am doing R3/W2 and it has been going pretty well, except that it is so cold. I am probably going to be doing a lot of the rest of the training on the TM. :cool1:
So, I picked up my gown last night. It had been nearly too tight to zip last week and the seamstress said it had to be a fluke, so I went back yesterday and it zipped right up. She had said she didn't want to take it out at all the places she took it in because it would gape in front. So, I was really glad she was willing to put off the final fitting until yesterday. Now the gown resides in the doorway (hanging) of our guest room. I have to figure out how to get it to Orlando next Friday night, rather than ship it and completely stress myself out. The problem is that it is HUGE!!
Today I made final edits to the BEO and sent a bunch of questions to our planner. She has been absolutely amazing and I can't imagine having worked with anyone else. I can't believe it is just about time to make the final payment and sign on (all) the dotted lines. :cloud9: AND, we found out yesterday that a couple of dear friends are going to be able to make it to our dessert party unexpectedly. So, all is very, very good. :goodvibes

Thank you, Lily! You are so sweet. I am so glad that after talking your ear off for the past year, you and your sweet hubby will be there to share this incredibly special occasion with us. I'm glad I haven't posted every little detail here, so that our friends will have "SOME" surprises! ;)
Well, the final revised BEO is back in Meri's hands, along with the "final" counts for the dessert party and the VR. We only had a couple of questions to clarify and it seems so real now. :bride:
Among the many, many things that are now taken care of on our to-do lists, we bought a bunch of stuff we need for a carb-load dinner we are hosting the night before the marathon, and we'll ship that box (paper products, kitchen utensils & textiles, etc.) the first week of January.
The current issue is that Howard has lost so much weight since May that his tux may not fit. Ultimately, we'll have it altered so that he has it on hand, but I think when we are in WDW next weekend, he'll have to go to CA's to get fitted for a tux for the VR. So, I have to make some calls about that, once Howard determines whether his tux is too big to wear as it is.
Oh, and all the music is decided for the ceremony. :woohoo: Now, Howard just has to decide on a song for his Mother/Son dance. Any suggestions? :grouphug:

Our gorgeous custom-made jewelry has arrived!!
My friend's Mom is a jewelry artisan and as soon as I started thinking about Jenn's jewelry for the wedding, I asked Karen to make it.
I found these earrings on ebay that Jenn really liked, so I bought them:
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/keenercam/jennsjewelry--earrings.jpg
Then, I bought a bunch of rose-colored Swarovski crystal hearts to build her jewelry ensemble to compliment the earrings. And I also found a little silver clasp that I liked. I sent it all to Karen and here are the necklace and bracelet she made for Jenn:
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/keenercam/jennsjewelry-necklace.jpg
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/keenercam/jennsjewelry-bracelet.jpg
I also decided that since we are doing a WISHES dessert party the night before the vow renewal, and our theme is All of Our Wishes Have Come True, and we've used stars as the decorating theme for the whole night, that I wanted to wear star jewelry. Again, I sourced Swarovski crystal stars and sent them to Karen. I told her my ideas for what I wanted the jewelry to look like. I also bought a Swarovski crystal ring called "VOLCANO" and wanted it to dangle from the bracelet - mine and Howard's love is eternal and has been forged by fire from the beginning. That little glass ring is symbolic.
Here are the pieces Karen made for me:

Thanks, Jennifer! Jenn LOVES pink and hearts, so I am really, really excited about giving this to her for Christmas. I can't even describe how the hearts pick up all the colors around them and explode. I can't wait to see the outside pix on the day of the VR.
Wow. Really pretty, you can even see how nice the Swarovski crystals are in the photos. They must be more beautiful in person!:thumbsup2
You are so right. The pictures don't do them justice at all. Any color that is near the stars explodes through all the facets and explodes onto the surfaces near the stars. It is going to be incredible for an outdoor evening party. Now I'm really glad we are having Randy photograph the DP. ;)
Wow, Cam! I love them!!!!!!!!!!! :lovestruc
Thank you, Lisa. It may all be a little over the top, but when does a girl ever get a chance to play "dress-up", right? Unless you are a movie star, your wedding day may be the one and only time you can wear all that bling.
OMG!! It hit me this morning that we leave for WDW 3 weeks from today!!!! (actually, we are leaving for WDW tomorrow night, too, for a quick weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary :cloud9: ). Now, I am starting to feel like there is so much to do and so little time to do it.

YES!! Strangely, it does. :rotfl2: BTW, are you taking your wedding dress on your cruise for formal night? I was thinking about how wonderful and exciting that would be. I could never pull it off with mine (it would need a cabin all its own), but you could take yours and have more gorgeous pix of you and Rob. :lovestruc

12-18-2008, 10:09 AM
Since it's a four-night cruise, they only have a "dress up" night, so we're holding off. We're going on a seven-night next November that has a formal night, and I fully intend to bring it (too bad it adds twenty pounds to that 50lb luggage limit!).
I still haven't gotten my dress back from the cleaners-- it was supposed to be ready a month ago. She said she was behind when I dropped it off in October, so I'll call in January and see what's going on.

Hi, everyone!
Thank you for the anniversary wishes, Meg!
Kathy -- we miss you and can't wait to see you! It was amazing being in the MK this weekend knowing the next time we'll be there is during the 1/2 marathon!
So, we are back from an absolutely fabulous weekend in WDW! I know you have all been waiting anxiously to hear this-- ultimately, I packed my wedding gown in our hugest suitcase (fully expanded) and put Jenn's gown in there, too, and we checked the suitcase. It arrived in Orlando without a hitch! When I handed it off at curbside checkin, the handler said "Hey, I expected this to be so heavy!" I asked if he wanted to know what was in it and then told him it was my wedding gown and please take good care of it. He was so sweet! He just lit up and said it was truly his pleasure. And he extended all good wishes. What a great start to a very long evening.
Our flight out Friday night was delayed so much that we didn't arrive at OKW until 3 am, but we were up at 7:45 for an 8:30 ADR at Olivia's. Then off to Carolyn Allen's to store the two dresses and to add a tuxedo rental for Howard. He looked GORGEOUS when he tried on the tux -- be still my heart. I know I am going to cry when I see him on our VR morning. Things went so easily with Sue at CA. She is truly wonderful, as are her staff.
We LOVED seeing the Magic Kingdom all dressed up for the holidays and it was fabulous meeting 3 other DISBrides to chat -- Tracy, Vanessa & (honeymooning) Meg. :grouphug:
We also scoped out the GF yesterday to be able to give good directions to our dessert party guests as to how to get to Sago Cay Pointe.
Another highlight of the weekend was meeting John of Owners' Locker. He and his partner Brian have been so helpful and accommodating about us using their service to store wedding stuff. I can't tell you what a HUGE relief it is to know that so many of our wedding supplies are in Orlando, in storage, in safe hands. It is that much less to pack or ship, too! And when the wedding stuff is removed, we'll pack the locker full of supplies for future DVC stays. Also, anything we might not be able to bring back at the end of the honeymoon could stay in my owners' locker until I go again in the spring. YAY!!
UGH! Work is calling. Back later!

I'm so glad you had a lovely trip and that the dresses made it safe and sound. It can be very... nerve-wracking waiting to find out if they made it. It seems like Murphy's Law would dictate that the suitcases had to go missing because of their ultra-important contents. So yay! One BIG thing off the checklist!

So happy to hear you, Howard and the dresses made it WDW. I am sure you had a wonderful Anniversary trip. I was thinking about you Friday night with the bad weather we were having. They closed our building at 2:30 and told everyone to go home.
I agree about the people at CA - they are just wonderful and helped us out so much. Funny thing about them - with all the recommendation from this board and Disney we decided to use them - not realized that Sheldon's dad lives right around the block from them. When we went there they knew him because he walks his dog up there all the time.
You guys must be getting so excited and what a wonderful idea to use the Owners Lockers and not have to worry about all you wedding items down in Florida.
Have "fun" at work and looking forward to reading more.
