Anaheim to Magic Mountain

Hello all we are looking at driving from Anaheim to Magic Mountain in May 2008, we are looking at going for 3 days and the park hours are 10.30 to 7.00. I would like to know how long will it take to drive there please and will there be any peak traffic coming back.

I live near Magic Mountain, in fact I can see it quite well out my bedroom window. On a good day, in good traffic, it can take about an hour to go from here to Anaheim. You can try to avoid the rush hour traffic, but there are always the unforeseen things such as traffic accidents, or road work, or closures due to strange things like brushfires. I usually plan to take about 2 hours to get to Disneyland, and if I'm early, that's great, but that doesn't happen very often. Sometimes the traffic slows down, and you have no idea why it has.:confused3

H! We did this in August..we left after breakfast..which was after rush hour (about 9 a.m.) and really were moving pretty much the whole time, and I think it took a little over an hour. The way back was where we hit all the traffic...but it was about 6 PM....lots of standing still..a good 2 hours.
