DOG CHOW recipe

I am making "Movie Baskets" for Christams gifts for nieghbors and wanted to include that Dog Chow snack. The one that has the Chex Mix, peanut butter (I think), cocoa and powdered sugar. I thought I saw it posted here on the DIS recently.

Can anyone help me?

I can't find my recipe but I did find this one on recipezaar and it looks similar to mine.

1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 (12 ounce) box Crispix cereal or similar cereal
1 lb confectioners' sugar


Melt chocolate chips, butter & peanut butter over medium heat. Stir to blend.
Pour over Crispix in large bowl.
Pour confectioners sugar in paper grocery bag.
Add Crispix and shake vigorously until it breaks apart. Serve in new doggie dish.

I made this tonight. It is yummy. I didn't have a brown paper bag, so I poured the mix on several sheets of wax paper spread to cover my bar and mixed the powdered sugar in that way. It worked great.
