Just wanted to see who else will be on the ship with us. We are Me, DH and DD 5(turning six the day after we get off the ship) and DD 2.5.

We were wondering if anybody else on these boards were going. I am going with my husband, DD 10 years old, DS 5years old, DD 3 years old. I just got my docs last week. I am so excited!

We will be on this cruise too! It'll be myself, dh, ds11, dd9, dd6, dd2 1/2(also Erin). We got our docs a couple weeks ago, I think. I posted on this board when they came! Getting very excited!

Lisa :)

I started this post at least a month ago, and no one replied. I was scanning the boards yesterday and when I saw my name, I was surprised because I hadn't started any posts in a awhile. Glad to see we won't be alone on our cruise. Erin

Maybe it is good that there haven't been a lot of replies. We are hoping the crowds are not too bad at Disney and hopefully the ship won't be overly crowded as well. Should I be worried that we haven't received our documents yet?

Motom, I have seen other people post before about not receiving documents when others were. I know not everybody gets them at the same time. We booked through DVC and I got mine about 2 days after Familyof6 posted that she got theirs.(they did not book through DVC) I wouldn't be too concerned unless it gets to be about 3 weeks out and you haven't received them yet, then I would call. I know this may sound stupid, and you may have cruised before, but I was expecting a much larger box (since I had heard they were delivered via Fedex), I assumed it was larger than my mail box or something. The box is just a little larger than my checkbook boxes that come in the mail. I was glad that I was home when they were delivered because we don't always come and go through our front door, and I might not have noticed that small box for a few days.

Are you going to WDW before or after the cruise? We are going for 4 days after, (Memorial Day Weekend) I'm sure it will probably be crowded by our standards, but manageable. We usually go off season, but DD5 is in school now, so we will have to adjust to school holiday vacations most of the time.
I know that the lower categories are sold out for the Wonder for the whole month of May. I checked the DCL website the other day, I was just wondering if we were paying cash, How much our room would cost us. (Cat.11) When I put in May Cat 11, it told me to put in other dates, because no dates were available. I'm sure the lower categories go first, so I'm not sure if the ship is sold out or not. Others on this board have said that they have cruised with full ships, and they didn't notice anything being more difficult on the ship, so don't worry about that too much. Erin

Erin, we are going to the parks before the cruise. We arrive the 16th and that is one of the reasons I am so anxious to get our documents. We have no idea what time our flight takes off on the 16th and I am trying to plan our park portion of the trip. I don't believe anyone in our group has cruised before so wasn't sure what to expect w/ the documents. Also we have to go to the travel agency to pick ours up. I guess I just need to relax and work on my packing list. Thanks for the info.

We are sailing on the Wonder May 19th... My husband, myself, my 16 year old daughter, her 16 year old cousin, my 14 year old son and his 14 year old friend. We will be spending the three days before the cruise at the Polynesian. This is our 3rd time cruising with Disney.. and no we have not received our documents yet for this trip but will wait until two weeks before the date to make any calls. Also.. the last cruise I sailed on was booked and it really didn't make a difference. The ship is so big and so many things to do that we never noticed a crowd anywhere.

I just called to find out which movies will be playing on the ship for our cruise...here they are (overlook spelling...I'm hurrying)

Snow Dogs
Royal Tannembaums
Rookie
Count of Monte Cristo
Return From Never Land
Princess Diaries
Legally Blonde
Monsters Inc.
Toy Story II
Harry Potter (it said Apr 6th...she didn't know if that meant only that cruise or that it started on that date)
Laura Kraft Tombraider
Big Trouble
Atlantis

Hope this helps some of you decide on which movies to see prior to you cruise!

I have a question about the movies lisa posted - are those the movies shown in the actual movie theater on the ship or in the rooms? I thought they showed movies that are in the theater at the actual time of the cruise, not ones that are a few months old. Does anyone know if that is true? My fiancee was hoping for star wars or spiderman, heheha. Thanks!

These are the movies playing in the theaters. I think they are the most recent Disney movies. (with the exception of Harry Potter which is a Warner Bros. film) Typically Disney doesn't run other company's movies on the ship. Spiderman is a Columbia Pictures movie and I'm not sure about Star Wars. I think the next Disney movie to premier will be Lilo & Stitch (?) coming out sometime in June.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The CM didn't really say these are the movies that will be playing, but I asked for the movies that would be playing on our cruise and this is the answer I got. It may be what's playing now...but it seems that without some big premier of another Disney movie between now and then, these will be the ones.

I hope this doesn't disappoint your (soon-to-be) dh too much.

Lisa:)
