<font face="comic sans ms"> Well, I was supposed to leave either before 6 a.m. or between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. When I got up and looked outside, it was really foggy. So, I guess I'm waiting until after 9. I have been trying to decide what I wanted to do after this. I had kicked around the idea of San Francisco which was my number one choice but would add 800 miles to my trip. :eek: I also thought about San Diego. I woke up Saturday morning, and I called Alan and asked if he would fly {insert fainting smilie here} and meet me in Las Vegas. He is going to. :bounce: I got a decent rate at the Bellagio on Expedia. I'll let y'all know that I made it to Las Vegas. :smooth: </font>

You drive safely, get your oil and water checked in your car. Make sure that your cell phone has fresh batteries for your long trip. Be careful.

Ray, My phone actually gave up the ghost on my trip here. :eek: I ended up not having a cell phone driving through the desert. :eek: Alan Fedexed me a new phone. I have new tires and I will check the oil before I leave.

When I got to the front desk, the clerk said that my ressie had been cancelled because I was supposed to arrive yesterday. Fortunately I had my new printer with me, and I had made a copy of the Expedia e-mail. ;) She went to the back and it took forever, but they figured out that the hotel had made a mistake with my arrival date. It's a good thing I had my freshly printed e-mail with me. Lol. I'm glad Alan wasn't with me. He gets stressed at stuff like that. I knew that it was their mistake, and I figured that they would fix it.

Well, Alan just called from the lobby. He's on his way up. Bye Bye. </font>
