Quest. for a friend: Anyone ever stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando?

I am asking for a friend of mine,

Here is her Question: Via my friend Marcy....

Anyone ever stayed at the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando?

We've booked it for May. But we're not totally sold on it yet. We will
be there for 7 days, unless we change our minds before then.

Our thought is that we can break up time at Disney World with resort
time at the NickHotel.

A couple of questions I have are about Nick After Dark and the
character breakfast. Both are a bit pricey. Are they worth it?

Any tips, suggestions, warnings to share? Thanks!

this resort gets very, very mixed reviews.

so if you get a nice room you love it.

if you get a room that needs a good cleaning you will hate it.

It all depends on your kids and your preferences. My cousin thought Nick After Dark was boring, he would have rather been at the pool. The character breakfast, however, was great! Spongebob and Dora are always there, and the food is Disney Hotel-par. I personally had a great time, but it seems to be better when it is the offseason. Try for october. It's cheaper, less people, more fun.
