The National Weight Loss Registry is an ongoing study of people who have lost 30 pounds and kept it off for a year or more. Their website is here:

We seem to have a lot of people here who have lost substantial amounts of weight! Has anyone here joined the registry? If you've lost weight and haven't joined, if that because it hasn't been a year yet, or you've never heard of it, or maybe you're not interested?
Just curious if anyone here is in this study!

Hi, DisneyChrista & OhMom!
I'm not sure if you can join if you are still actively losing. If you've been down 30 pounds for more than a year, maybe you can join -- not sure.
I would really love to qualify for this! I have lost more than 30 pounds on several occassions, but I've never been able to keep it off (even without going back to my old eating habits.) I'm hoping this time will be different. Of course, first I have to make it to 30 pounds, and losing has been very difficult for me this time around.
I'm surprised that not more people have responded. Maybe we don't have many maintainers here?

This looks interesting, however I too am in the "still losing" group. I will check it out again once I reach my goal.
