Christmas Parties!!

It was my works dept Christmas party last night, we went to Jongleurs comedy club and I think we must have drunk the bar dry!! It was so much fun, everyone ended up fabulously drunk and we all danced and had such a good time. The only problem is that one person took a camera and I think there are going to be some very embarrassing photos eeeek! :blush: I'm not feeling very well now tho....

What is everyone else doing for their works parties?

Sounds good. I work in a primary school so we are all going to a local hotel for a meal and disco. I'm not being a scrooge but i hate the thought of work do's, im alright once i get there, but this one is on the very last day of term (21st) and everyone is talking about outfits etc and i wanna go in my PJ's!

Our whole college party is also on the 21st, sounds just like yours, the meal in a hotel etc, I don't think it will be as much fun as last nights tho!

We had ours on Thursday - I was miserable because I was driving (and grumpy because we are in the middle of being audited) - Manchester was gridlocked becasue Maralyn Manson was playing and the whole of town seemed to be filled with the living dead - anyway after a luke warm meal we went on to a club and met up with some of the gothic creatures and ended up having a whale of a time!

It was DW's schools do last night at the local golf club. I played Mr. taxi and picked DW and 2 other very merry teaching assistants up at 1am!

We don't have a party at work, but the company gives everyone £30 to spend on their own department lunches/dinners.

Our department lunch is next Friday. We are going to a Chinese buffet restaurant in Leicester :)

I've also go a free Christmas lunch in the works restaurant on Thursday and I think my project manager is everyone on his project out for lunch on Tuesday - so a busy week :)

We're having a Christmas Lunch next Friday, then I have a half day and I'm off to Stobo Castle for a pampering weekend with me friend;)

We are doing the standard 'school do' - meal and disco in local hotel. Not looking forward to it at all, especially as I can't even have a drink to ease the pain! Still, I could always go into labour on the dance floor, that might liven things up a bit!
