Hey everyone......
We're going on the 3/9 cruise but getting into Port Canaveral on Friday night and staying at the Radisson. We'll probably get there around 7-8pm but I'm sure we'll all be very hungry! Does anyone know of a really good restaurant with a wide variety of menu items that is decently priced? Or are there any places (maybe pizza?) that would deliver to the Radisson? Any ideas would be great!! Thanks!

Hi Pixie Dust,
This is Shirley - and yes there are some nice places to eat but you will need a car to get to them - At the Port, you have Grills and Rusty's - both very casual and you sit by the water and watch the different boats come in and out - you also have Frankie's Wings at the same area (do not eat at the Sun Cruz Casino lounge - not good) - further down South, you have Mangroves on A1A (about 2 miles from the Raddison, you have Moom Hut which is a family restaurant about 1 mile from the Raddison, then there is Durango Steak house, Perkins and the Pier House about 3 miles away - You can order Pizza from Scharidos (321-799-4428) and they do deliver - Pizza Hut and about 2 or 3 more deliver to the Raddison - Right by you - you have Zackery's Greek Restaurant which is good also and an Italian Rest. about 2 or 3 doors down from where you will be staying - you can call me at 800-950-4559 if you have any other questions.
Have a wonderful cruise and stay safe.
Always,
Shirley

We ate at Durango's and loved it! There was no wait, and they had large tables.

I have a number of restaurants on my Space Coast Business Locater map (www.dcltribute.com/spacecoast). As Shirley mentioned, Zachary's is right next to the Radisson. There's also a pizza place right next door (Kelsey's). But if you have a car, I recommend trying one of the places Shirley recommended, particularly Grills or Rusty's. If you don't have a car and aren't interested by Zachary's or Kelsey's, you could have some food delivered. There's a decent variety available via Takeout Taxi (http://www.iu.net/takeout-taxi/cocoa.html).

Are there fast food places or something that would be open until midnight on a Friday?
I think our Cocoa ETA is 10pmish (could be earlier the way I drive :D ) so I'm hoping something will be open so we can get some eats!! We'll be hungry...I drive fast and furious no stopping...did anyone see Rat Race???? hehehe hope somebody gets it!

Waffle House (www.wafflehouse.com) is open 24/7. Although it's not on my Space Coast Business Locater map (www.dcltribute.com/spacecoast), it's located just north of the Quality Suites.

Hello 52
I just wanted to mention that the NASA Space Center is a wonderful experience not only for children, but adults as well - It takes up a full day to take in all that it is offered - you can get to it by going on State Road 3 im Merritt Island - Then there is the Brevard Zoo going South on US 1 - If I can help, just call me at the shop or even stop by and will give you some coupons for different things here.
Have a safe trip down.
Always,
Shirley
