Hi!!
I was in WDW this past Thanksgiving! we loved waking up at the YC on thanksgiving morning! It was so special for us (me and dh). the crowds were definately up, but we steered clear of them, and had no problem! we were in WDW for 2 full weeks, thanksgiving wee, and the week following. the few days prior to T-day, it was pretty empty, then by tues night and wednesday, you could see all the people checking in!!! we stayed out of the parks for the most part that weekend! we just went to MK t-day morning for breakfast at the Castle, then we left the park. we went to epcot over the weekend, it wasnt bad at all. I didnt go to MK on friday or saturday at all, and I wouldnt recommend it! It is probably very very crowded! if you plan on going just for the weekend, then go to MK early!!! :)

to me there is never a bad time to go to WDW! just know how to manage the crowds, and make some PS ahead of time!!!!! :)

We went for Thanksgiving 2 years ago and it is now my favorite time to go. We just booked for this Thanksgiving . We go right on or just before Thanksgiving and stay for the whole next week. It is quite busy up to the weekend, but by sunday nite, most people have checked out and gone home. This way we catch some of the late hours at the parks the first week and then have the parks with much less crowds the next week. By the way, on Thanksgiving nite while all are asleep, Disney magic happens and Friday morning when you wake up --its christmas in disney! It doesnt get much better than that. The only downside is you never know about the weather. The last trip we literally froze. But I think that was a fluke in the weather. Where better to be cold than in disney, right! Its a great time to go.

Totally agree w/ Princess Angel. Wed. thru at least Sat. parks are busy but manageable if you get there early and use fastpass. We have been at Thanksgiving the last 3 yrs and will be back this year. An added bonus is the holiday decorations.

Princess Angel we, too, will be at YC concierge--see ya there!!

We went this past Thanksgiving for our 1st trip to WDW--it was great! If you utilize the fastpass system it works great! We really didn't wait in too many lines at all.

As far as the dining situation--we had ALOT of problems with some of the PS we made. They had closed a few of the restaurants due to the 9/11 situation and cancelled some of our PS's (both of our Thanksgiving meals--breakfast and dinner) It all got worked out in the end though. We had dinner at Le Cellier at Epcot--it was great--one of the best meals we had our whole trip! I would go ahead and make a few PS's (especially for Thankgiving day) and you should be fine!

Have fun!
Sue:)
