How much for Grand Floridian?

I wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian, but I am getting price quotes all over the place.

How much did you pay or are you paying to stay there? Taking the package or not?

Well for my honeymoon in June 2000 I paid $400 per night for a castle view room. For my trip in Christmas 2001, I paid $199.00 a night for a garden view room. Obviously, I grossly overpaid for my honeymoon, BUT that was before I knew of the DIS and all the deal available. Get an Annual Pass........usually there are steep discounts that go with it. Also check out www.mousesavers.com for other deals.

The rates do vary greatly. AP rates seem to be the best. Some people are getting as much as 50% off. :eek: Check mousesavers.com! :D

The price depends on when you go. When I called to make res. I was quoted $219 gv for Feb. We decided to go during spring break (last week of March) and are paying $429 gv with the disney club discount (the price includes tax). As you can see, quite a difference. If you want to save money, don't go during peak time as discounts (codes and AP discounts) are slim to none - believe me I have been trying to get a better rate for months!
