DH and I stayed at the HoJo's for our first-ever trip to DLR. The hotel was great and an easy walk to the parks. We got the Entertainment Book rate on a premium room with 2 queens ($69/night). The room was bright, large and clean. It looked newly redecorated. The bathroom looked new and there was a second sink outside.
Disneyland was crowded! I had expected lighter crowds for these dates from all that I had read in preparation for this trip. Despite the crowds, we had a great time. I wrote all about the trip in my blog, kay-lo's world (http://kay-lo.blogspot.com), and all of our photos (http://www.flickr.com/photos/msla/sets/72157603382081289/)are on Flickr. I hope you'll take a look!

read your blog... viewed your photos... nice! I kinda like Flickr.
And it's Sleeping Beauty's castle, not Cinderella's... :)
(hey, we're all new to DLR at some point, right?)

Great Blog & fantastic pictures. :thumbsup2
Only thing better than you doing the dosey do with the trombone player were those fantastic shots of the parade. (I can't wait to see it on Sunday. :hippie: ) It looks way more festive than the parade i saw 6 mos. ago.
Also, it looks like you had a great spot to view it. (The train depot?)
Thanks for sharing!

Yes - we got off the train at the hub about 10 minutes before the parade started and the only people up there were sitting on the benches, so we just stood behind them and had a great view of the parade. Great view - no waiting - can't beat that! :santa:
Glad you like my blog and photos, hound!:thumbsup2 They're great ways to have a permanent record of all our trips.
hound - Have a GREAT time tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you back here in snowy Massachusetts!:sad1:

Thanks, lu! I put the rest of my photos (http://www.flickr.com/photos/msla/sets/72157603382081289/) up yesterday before we left and now we're back home. I've still got some updates for the blog (http://kay-lo.blogspot.com)that I'll do later today. Right now I have to go to the grocery store because there isn't a thing to eat in this house. Coming home is hard! :sad2:  :sad2:
Thanks to all for reading! :disrocks:
