I spoke with Disney Dining today. The CM told me that Tutto Italia was confirmed today for the 2008 DDP. It will use one credit. I had them make sure they weren't looking at 2007. She said definitely the word came down today .....Tutto IS on for 2008.

Thanks for the info, too bad it's too late for me to add it without losing one of my existing TS. :(

We ate there about 2 weeks ago & our bill came to approx. $135 for 2 people(including the 18% tip).
Thus Tutto Italia is WELL WORTH it if using the DDP as it is only one dining credit!!

information is somethimes erratic, I decided to check further. Tutti Italia has been added to the DDP restaurant list as a one credit restaurant on the WDW site for '08.

Do you think everything on the menu will be included? I see the one huge thing that you share between 2 people, do you think a couple could share this on the plan??

We had lunch there earlier this month. It was delicious and well worth a TS credit... not to mention the incredibly cute Italian server with his great accent. ;)
Happy to hear they've been added for 2008. :thumbsup2

Hmmm...interesting. Now I'm wondering if I should cancel Le Cellier and do this instead. Which do you think is better?

Does anyone know when they plan to close and do more rehab work? AllEars says it should be finished by "late 2008". I am wondering if they will be open in August or if we should look for somewhere else to eat!:confused3

It's so strange becuase we ate there a couple of weeks ago for a birthday celebration and it was just plain awful. We all love Italian food, my husband lived in Italy for a while, and he, and the rest of us were so disappointed. The service was terribly slow and the food was just plain bad. Our smoked salmon starters were inedible, my main course of red snapper was oily and unpleasant. The spaghetti with veal meatballs was dreadful. The pasta was all stuck together in a big lump in the middle and the meatballs did not taste good. The desserts were ok, at last something that we could eat. Such a shame because it was for a birthday celebration. Wish we had gone somewhere else. On the bright side we had amazing meals at Kona, Artist Point, Portofino and Cheesecake factory. Great breakfast at Pooh bear and Chef mickey.
We had loads of other reservations including California Grill, Canada and teppan edo but had to miss them due to illness.
