<font face="comic sans ms"> Well, the Disneyland-Con is drawing to a close. All of the :crazy: people are gone, and only the :smooth: people are left. Oh, wait. I'm the only one left. :p ;) :D
I promise to tell you some of the funny stories from DL-Con, but I need to get
over there and go pin shopping. :rolleyes:
I will tell you one kinda funny one to hold you over. We went to get Mint Juleps yesterday. There were about 9 of us ordering, and I was going to treat everyone. We didn't get our order together before we went up there. :o It was like the 9 stooges. Everyone kept wandering off and I'd have to yell and ask what they wanted, people changed their minds, she made a few drinks wrong. Needless to say, it was taking a looooooooooong time to just get drinks. There were two young guys (20's) standing behind us being more patient than most of us would have been. I asked them what they wanted, and I included it in our order. The first guy said to the second guy, "I don't normally have women buying me drinks unless I'm in a bar." The second guy said, "You don't normally get picked up at Disneyland." I said, "I'm just buying you drinks. I'm not picking you up. It would be kind of rude to try and pick you up using my husband's money." First guy said, "It's happened before." :eek: :eek: :eek: Barb, Tia, and Tammy got quite a kick out of this.
I'm sorry that I haven't posted more, but they kept making me stay up past my bedtime. :D
