Do I have to do all of DIS CON or will i be able to do select events?

I don't know if this was asked or posted yet, but since I have 2 DD's, I don't want to leave them..:( , there will be some events that I won't be able to do, but I was wondering if there will be an option to only do a couple of things like dessert at illuminations and character breakfasts...I don't wanna miss out, but there will be no way I could swing $1000 more dollars...:( Please Help.:(

Last year it was all or nothing and I feel certain it will work that way also. I think the bookeeping on the pay by event idea would be a killer. However, there are Lots of MINI meets going on duirng the event that you could join. For example, I know people joined the thrill ride tour and the Drink Around the World.

I went last year unofficially (I didn't buy the package, but I was in WDW at the same time as DIS CON), and attended a lot of the mini-meets. It was a blast! Maybe you could be there unofficially and attend the mini-meets?

Wow, that really would be expensive for the whole family. Maybe you could just participate in a lot of the unofficial DIS mini-meets.

Last year, as the others have said above, was two prices. One was resort plus the official DIS-CON-I events and the second was the official DIS-CON-I events only.

The events look a lttle different. I saw a dessert at Illuminations this year, again.

Also, something different this year, it looks like they are trying to have a short weekend official DIS-CON-II registration along with the five day official DIS-CON-II event.

Last year the official character breakfast was held at the Yacht and Beach Club Convention Center,but we also signed up for an unofficial Character Dinner at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom before we went to MVMCP.

We could start an unofficial character breakast mini-meet. I would go.

We did not sell separate events last year Shep and I believe will not this year.. it would be a nightmare trying to keep track of who has what.. We have not listed anything yet... and when we do, you can figure it out from there.. Sorry.........
