For all of us who have bad days at the office
http://glumbert.com/wii/view.php?name=baddayoffice
My favorite part on this one is the guy who leaps across the table and kicks the crap out of the other guy.
Not to disparage my own gender, but how many times have we seen a guy at the copier pull out the toner cartridge, look at it, and then stick it back in there?!

:rotfl2: That's my favorite part too along with the guy who throws his monitor at the guy throwing paper airplanes at him, then he keeps on working like he has a monitor! And honestly, NONE of the guys I work with can ever figure out why the copier is beeping at them. Around my office, the machinery is womens work. I did one time have the toner cartridge form a dust cloud around me, and of course I had on a white shirt. It never fails.

I was telling DH about our Beavis and Butthead posts while at Bob Evans for dinner tonight and he started his own impersonations of them. I think there is going to be a B&B club. The best I can do is pull my shirt over my head and stick my arms up. :)
For the fans....

So we are not picking on blondes.
Two Scotsmen had been pals since childhood and had shared everything over the years. One day, Angus won a rare bottle of Scotch in a door prize.
Immediately, Jock says "Open it up and we'll have a dram."
"Naw, ah'm goin' tae save it for a special occasion."
Birthdays came and went, his anniversaries came and went, but Jock could never get Angus to open the bottle.
Finally Angus had a heart attack, and was laying on his deathbed. He motioned for his old friend to come closer. "Jock, remember that rare bottle of Scotch I won?"
"Aye, ah certainly do, Angus!"
"Weell, ah like ye tae do me a favor Jock, my dear friend."
"Aye, anything ye ask Angus."
"When ah'm dead, wid ye take that bottle an' open it up--"
"Aye, Angus, then what?"
"Wid ye pour it over ma grave?"
"Pour it over yer grave? My god Angus. It's 40 year old Scotch! But I'll do it for ye."
"Oh, ye're a real pal Jock, and ah'll appreciate that."
Jock says, "There's just one thing Angus, wid ye mind if ah filter it through my kidneys first?"

As our kids get older, lets home we dont get a letter like this.
A Mother passing by her son's bedroom was astonished to see that his
bed was nicely made and everything was picked up.
Then she saw an envelope, propped up prominently on the pillow that was
addressed to "Mom" With the worst premonition she opened the envelope
with trembling hands and read the letter.
Dear Mom,:
It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing you. I had to elope
with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Dad and you. I have been finding real passion with Stacy and she is so nice. But I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercings, tattoos, tight motorcycle clothes and the fact that she is much older than I am. But
it's not only the passion...Mom she's pregnant. Stacy said that we will be
very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.
Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn't really hurt
anyone. We'll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with the other
people that live nearby for cocaine and ecstasy. In the meantime we will
pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Stacy can get better. She
deserves it. Don't worry Mom. I'm 15 and I know how to take care of
myself. Someday I'm sure that we will be back to visit so that you can get to know your grandchildren.
Love,
Your Son Jon
P.S. Mom, none of the above is true. I'm over at Tommy's house. I just
wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than the report
card that's in my center desk drawer.
I love you.
Call me when it's safe to come home.
Love it!!! http://bestsmileys.com/clapping/2.gifhttp://bestsmileys.com/clapping/2.gifhttp://bestsmileys.com/clapping/2.gif

Jennifer, there aren't any drawbacks of booking online - you're in control of the booking so it's all good. :thumbsup2
I believe TAs aren't allowed to discount DCL cruises anymore unless they make some sort of group booking. What you get from DU and the rest is onboard credit of varying amounts. Usually I book online with DCL and then transfer the booking to DU to get all the OBC going...
I use DU because they will advise me if/when certain preferred staterooms become available - it's easier than keep contacting DCL...

Does anyone know how you find out your Castaway Club number if you've misplaced it? We moved to a new house last summer and who knows where it got packed or even thrown out. I don't see anything on their site that lets you look it up. Will it show up when I make my reservation?
Jennifer
Email DCL using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the home page and select "Castaway Club Questions" in the subject options list. Ask for your CC details and they will get back to you with the number... :thumbsup2
Here's the link... (https://secure.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/general/contactUs?name=ContactUsPage)

I'm OK now, thank you.. My DH was really sick with flu before we went and I think I took his germs with me...
We've stayed there a couple of times - DH wants to do the concierge level next time... It is a fab resort - great restaurants and beautifully decorated...
Well, strangely, it's almost 7pm here and about to start! I'm off to pick DS up from the station in a moment and shortly after it'll be time to start dinner as DH will be home in about an hour... :goodvibes

Yep, we are staying our 1st DVC stay the first week of may:banana: We got a 1 bedroom savannah view and are so excited. The pictures are gorgeous of the resort. We are doing Boma the first night for dinner, but we are not very adventurous eaters, so I hope we like it. If you are logged in, as long as you have allowed your browser to use cookies, it should log you in
Depending on how you connct to the Internet, you may need to reconnect after a timeout
With a broadband connection this shouldn't be an issue

I got like that last summer when I went to Spain for 4 weeks and couldn't be bothered to access the Internet at all whilst away. When I got back, all the threads were sooo far ahead, I just gave up and posted from when I returned and had time to be online. I'm being particularly lazy with real life at the moment - I really don't post this much as a rule... :rolleyes1 :lmao: :surfweb:
Yes I just have a lot to do at the moment so limited time, weekdays, I can catch up a few pages but if it jumps 300 posts or so I just cannot do it.
And people say I spend a lot of time here.!
The worst things are the pirate runs on the REPO thread, jumping some 250 posts in a night, a lot of people say they feel intimated, and do not post on that thread.

It's ironic that you posted this. A couple of weeks ago when I was looking for a hotel for our New Year's Eve stay, I found articles and threads related to this subject. So when we got to the hotel I told DH and kids by no means to use the glasses. DH looked at me strangely and I briefly told him he did not want to know how they clean them and don't ever use them. (prior to reading about it we would use them) Now watching the video you posted, I just explained to him in detail why. This is absolutely disgusting actually seeing it! I know some hotels may think plastic cups are cheap looking but if they aren't going to properly sanitize glasses then that's what they need to do. Thanks for the video! As gross as it is, people need to be aware. It's bad enough that hotels don't change the sheets between visitors and that bedspreads are washed maybe once a month. And on that note, I checked our beds when we checked in last week and noticed that the sheets did not look fresh. Freshly cleaned and changed sheets do not have the mattress design imprinted on them. The whole thing really grossed me out. I'm a bit of a germaphobe. :scared: And the hotel we stayed at was not cheap!

OMG! :lmao: :rotfl2: As a matter of fact, I do! (how did you know?)
I have a funny story about my big feet. Last Friday I went out with co-workers, so I'd been drinking. Someone's husband was giving me a hard time about my tattoo, making fun of it, saying it was cliche and small. So I whipped my leg above the table and pulled my pant leg up to dispute his claims. I was sitting next to our Credit Manager but she had her head turned so didn't see what I was doing. She turned around and yelled "OMG how big are your feet?!" My foot was right in her face when she turned around. It was hilarious. Probably a "you had to be there moment" but, yes, I do have big feet. :rotfl:

I have a funny to share:
I was helping DD with her homework. She had to spell the word butterfly. So I was telling her what letters to write. At the same time, I was paying attention to DS's spelling words, so I was kind of distracted telling DD the letters. When she was all done I looked at the word and busted out laughing. I forgot to tell her to put an er in the word, so she spelled buttfly. :rotfl2: That got a good laugh for a couple of minutes from the kids.
Oh, then DH was quizzing DS on spelling words and he told him to spell the word skies, but I didn't hear the word he said, just saw him having DS rewrite the letters. DS got it wrong, and I chided him because he got it right when I quizzed him on Tues. Turns out DH thought the word was skis! No wonder DS got it wrong! He had never spelled the word skis before. DH wasn't too happy that I pointed out he said the word wrong, and he thought I was saying it wrong! The spelling rule this week is change Y to I and ad ES. Even singular skis is ski. DUH! :rotfl:

Probably dumb question but what Flyers? We have the University of Dayton Flyers here. Are you a fan of them or is it a different Flyers?
