Nassau Curfew

In old itineraries, the ship leaves Nassau at 2 am, but since 9-11, the departure time is much less. Is it still this way, and can anyone anticipate a change? Also, if you leave Nassau much earlier, but get to Castaway Cay the same time, does the ship travel slower, or get there earlier but don't let you off?

On my January cruise, everyone had to be back onboard by 10:30pm and port departure was 11:00pm. Proposed arrival time at CC was 8:30am, but we got there about half an hour early.
