I called Disney last night to get a quote on a possible July 2008 trip. I asked the CM if I had a pin attached to my name. He stated that I do not at this time, but to watch my email closely the next few weeks! Does that mean that I am getting a code? Or does it mean that Disney is getting ready to send out codes and I might get one?? Anyone with any ideas???? I hope it means I am getting one!!!!!

It might mean there is a possibility that new codes are coming out soon. Someone on another thread had a CM tell them that. I do not know if CMs have advance knowlege of which geographical regions are going to be affected.

If it has anything to do with geographical regions, I hope I would be in on this code :) I'm from Bourbonnais, IL (near chicago) and I see the OP is from Springfield, Crossing my fingers!!

Well, I'm in the south, and in all my visits (at least 16), have never lucked up on finding a code! I will add that I have just recently, since finding the Dis, found out that you can ask if there is a code attached to your name. You can bet I do every time I call to inquire about dates!!

It means nothing. CM's have no idea who will be sent PIN codes!

At the new year (Jan 07) a code came out for 40% off the room part of your ressie. A lot of people were able to use the code...me included....and some (obviously) angry people weren't. There didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for who got to use it and who didn't.

I'm using the 40% off code for my trip starting tomorrow. I didn't get it, but was able to use the PIN/code which was linked to a blog outside of the DIS. It took 6 tries to get it, but nonetheless got it. :thumbsup2 I hope the angry people that gave up so easily don't see this and start firing away as they did in the original thread. LOL pirate: I'll be enjoying my $129 a night AKL Savannah view room (free upgrade) until 12/15/07.:rolleyes1

I called last week to check some prices and asked the same thing -- "Do I have any Pin Codes" and got "I can't tell that info, but check your email or mailbox" --- this week I got a postcard with a pin

this lists 69/night and 84/night at select value resorts during the first part of 2008

we are planning for Aug 08, I am going to call and see if the pin helps at all for other times - maybe I will have to wait for another Pin in the mail

I am from Chicagoland if that helps you wonder if you'll get one soon
