Weve never stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge before but it requires so little points - were considering trying it. Were wandering if since they are remodeling ...would staying there be a bad experience? (we dont actual have any reservation yet-were looking for points to rent). Has anyone been there that can tell me how "bad" or annoying the construction is? Thanks.

I had no problems with it - loved it so much - going back in March!

Note that "requires so little points" is a misconception. There are a limited number of "value" point cost rooms and they are value because they are smaller rooms (also only the Jambo -- existing AKL -- will have value rooms) and will likely be difficult to get on short notice. The "standard" view point cost rooms are also a minority. The majority of rooms are (and will be about 65% to 70% of all rooms when Kidani is done) savannah view point cost rooms. For most times of year, the savannah view point cost for those is somewhat higher than VWL, BCV, and BWV preferred, making them the highest point cost studio to 2BRs on site, and for a few months of the year, they are the same.

We are here now in a standard 1BR. We have a pool view. Its pretty nice. There are plenty of places to see animals here.
