We just got back from the World yesterday and I am having Disney withdrawls:rotfl2: I am depressed and miss my pal Mickey! We had a great time and I thought maybe being a "dis er" would help me with my sickness. We are already starting to plan our next trip...:hourglass

Welcome to the DIS boards!! :wave2: I totally understand what you mean by Disney withdrawals. I came back from WDW a few weeks ago and I can't wait to go back! Have fun hanging out with your fellow Disney fans! :)

Welcome to the DIS! You can somewhat cure your sickness by listening to Disney music online. Here's a few sites:

Mrs. Grumpy,

We live in Johnson County which is the eastern part of the state a little north.

I just keep thinking about: This time last week we were...I have to go back to work tomorrow:eek:

Where are you from?

:welcome: I haven't left yet and I am already depressed because we will have to come home. I told a friend from work I was going to apply for a job as goofy ( if you knew me you know some goofy things happen to me and I don't make them happen they just happen) and not come back at all and she said you better come back.

I can understand the withdrawls, planning for another trip is a sure cure but watch out, once bitten, its forever. We leave in 22 days, again, just there in September, and always have a trip in the works, keeps us sane and this trip will be our 40th trip so who's really sane? We're from Ohio, its 30 degrees here and the past snow just melted and we hate it already and winter hasn't begun, we're thinking if we go to WDW, winter will be over when we return, not !

Welcome again and enjoy the company, most are a happy lot here.

I completely sympathize... We don't return until June 2008. I'll be out of school for just a few days then, and I can't wait to get back! We just had a very rare snow day for the ice storm sweeping through Iowa yesterday. While all my other teacher friends were cheering, I was thinking....hmmm, too many of these and my trip will be in jeopardy with make-up days!

Anyway - I do understand. While I'm so thrilled about our trip next June, I feel like a part of me is already starting to have withdrawal because I KNOW how I will feel when it's over. Sadly, we aren't able to start planning our next trip right away because DH (who is a wonderful, sweet man -- just not a big Disney Fan like myself and DS) is worried about money and doing something different...

So, SIGH, I understand. :grouphug:

I think anyone that is a true Disney fan always has Disney withdrawls. Especially if you live sooo far away, because you have to plan a trip and all that to go back again. The last time I went was Jan 2006. We kept planning on going again every year (in Jan again) but things kept coming up and now we are defintely going in June 2008 for our honeymoon. =) I still have soo much excitement and I miss it just as much as the day I came back. I remember the trip perfectly and my fiance says I'm crazy hehe because of how much I love Disney. =):thumbsup2
